"As head of our village landscaping committee, I have been using Earthsystems for repairs of our irrigation when I am unable to repair the bigger issues. Wyatt is very responsive and will go over and above expectations. He has a good crew of courteous workers and gets the job done. He gets quite busy in the summertime, so it may take an extended time for him to address some of the larger issues, but usually can troubleshoot problems and advise me. I highly recommend him and his company."

"Mr. Brown removed and installed my patio, driveway and put in an additional side driveway for me. He and his team were very knowledgeable, professional and very efficient. They were done, start to finish in 3 days. I highly recommend Do it All for any job he tells you he can do. He is a man of his word."

Customers say: Quick response

"I would give Lenz Masonry 6 stars if that was an option! We hired Sal, owner of Lenz Masonry to install a tabby driveway with brick ribbons as well as leveling the driveway and building a retaining wall. Sal and his wife Rosie are true professionals who are perfectionists and extremely knowledgeable in their trade. These traits gave us a great deal of confidence in Lenz Masonry. Either Sal or Rosie were on site at all times. The entire crew were hard workers, polite, and conscientious. The project was completed on time and we are EXTREMELY SATISFIED! Look no further this is the company you need to hire."

"After a bad experience with another company, I called Robbie at Southern Pavers, based on a recommendation from someone else. He came out within 30 minutes, as I had a 1/2 off work and that was the only time I could meet with him. I had the estimate within an hour of him leaving my home. <br /> My old patio had very cool old bricks with the name of where they were made pressed into the sides. I felt pretty strongly about using them in the design on the new patio, but this idea had been torn down by two other companies. When Robbie came out, he said they could definitely include the bricks, and just warned me that the pavers would compliment, but not match perfectly, with the existing materials. That was fine with me. <br /> When I signed the contract, I was told it would take 2-3 weeks to start the patio, as the pavers had to be ordered and weather can slow down other projects. They kept me up to date on when my project would start and it fell right in the original 2-3 week window. The work itself took 4 days, as halfway through we got hit by rainstorms, which stopped work for a day and a half. His team came out on Saturday to finish up the project, though. <br /> The patio looks fabulous and I am so happy they were able to incorporate the bricks, as it adds character. I left everything up to Robbie in terms of color of the pavers and pattern to lay them in. Everything turned out wonderful, and I am glad I trusted his judgement. <br /> My patio area was a bit of a mess with roots, stumps, and old gate posts. They pulled out all the roots and created a curved flower bed area around a stump and fence post that were not able to be removed. It looks like it was part of the original design instead of something that had to be created on the spot. <br /> His team were polite, courteous, and cleaned up behind themselves when they left. They showed up for work on time each day and took few breaks. They even replaced a couple of broken stepping stones in another area of the yard, as I was unable to lift the new stones. <br /> I would 100% recommend them. The price was reasonable, the work excellent, and they stayed in communication with me through the whole process. Robbie called halfway through to make sure everything was going well and then again at the completion of the project to ensure I was happy. This company was great to work with. <br />"

"We had been looking for some time for a company to install a paver patio at our home. We had gone through many different companies, who came out and did estimates for the job. However, we just did not get a "warm and fuzzy" from any of the other companies. Quality Hardscapes came out and walked us through what the entire process would be from start to finish. They answered all of our questions, and put any concerns that we had to rest. Their pricing was very competitive when compared to the other estimates that we received. They were very punctual, and all of their materials were there when it was supposed to be. Their crew was extremely professional and polite. They did not seem bothered at all by us watching and asking questions along the way. The job was done on time and turned out even more beautiful than we had anticipated. The owner came by multiple times throughout the job to ensure that it was going smoothly, and checked in with us each time. The owner also followed up with us after completion of the job more than once to make sure that we were completely happy with the work that they had done. They are a top notch company and we could not be happier with choosing them for this job and with the end product. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have any paver work done. <br />"

"They came out to give us an estimate on a tree that was damaged.  He was prompt and responsive.  He told us the tree would be ok but to have it thinned in the fall.  Will have him back out to do the work then.  <br />"

FAQs for brick and stone patios, walks, and steps installation projects in Bluffton, SC

When cleaning your flagstone patio, begin by gently hosing off loose dirt and debris. Use a mild solution of white vinegar and water or diluted dish soap to scrub the surface with a soft-bristled brush. Avoid using abrasive tools, such as wire brushes, as they can damage the stone’s seal and finish. This careful approach effectively removes mold and grime while preserving the natural beauty of your patio.

Flagstone naturally offers a neutral palette that includes shades of grey, black, red, yellow, brown, and tan, and its inherent color cannot be altered. Choosing varieties like bluestone provides a subtle bluish tint that complements many exterior designs. These natural hues enhance curb appeal and create a refined, timeless look in your outdoor space, ensuring a sophisticated finish with minimal upkeep.

Flagstone for a patio must have a minimum thickness of 1.5 inches to reliably support furniture and foot traffic. Using stone that is two to three inches thick is recommended to ensure lasting durability. The increased thickness prevents cracking under load and enhances long-term performance. Investing in thicker flagstone provides superior stability and resistance to weather conditions, ensuring your outdoor space remains both safe and attractive.

You can paint a flagstone patio by using a high-quality, outdoor elastomeric latex paint designed for heavy foot traffic. Painting not only refreshes the patio’s appearance but also creates a waterproof barrier that protects the stone from damage. Regular reapplication every one to two years maintains its durability and visual appeal, ensuring your patio remains both stylish and well-protected.
