"Project went smoothly & the new grass sod is beautifully lush. Scott & his crew worked very hard before the sod was installed to properly prepare the ground & then followed up after the sod was installed to check irrigation needs & monitor for possible weed growth. I am very pleased & plan to have Scott replace the front lawn with Zoysia sod next Spring."

"Baron Harvin is an excellent brick mason. The lower half of the brick veneer between my garage doors was partially torn away when my cement driveway was removed. I kept the top part of the veneer supported by wood until I could find someone willing to make a repair. Mr. Harvin had no problem accepting the job. The work he did was outstanding. Not only did he seamlessly restore the lower half of the brick veneer at this part of the wall, he salvaged some of the original brick that was pull off the wall and mixed it with new brick that was a close match. He also matched the color of the new mortar with the color of the original mortar. I was very impressed with his attention to detail. He also repointed the brick stairs to my front door. Mortar had broken away from some bricks and was being washed away from the remainder. Tile at the top of the stairs was also coming loose, decades after original installation. Mr. Harvin did an outstanding restoration of those steps."

Customers say: Quality work

"I have high standards and hired David because he does too. He promised quality work, qualified and curious workers, and a good price in a reasonable timeframe - He did all that and more. The two paver patios and walk ways, with a border and tumble stone edging turned out better than expected. Would highly recommend him."

Customers say: Quick response

"Jason and crew did a great job of explaining the process, figuring costs, and implementing the plan. In addition, the crew answered my questions, gave good advice on caring for the new sod, and generally went beyond tasks that were expected of them. Jason has made follow-up visits, texts, and phone calls to make certain everything was going well, and he even replaced a faulty sprinkler head and set my irrigation system to do the things it needed to do for the new grass. I could not be more pleased with the expertise, professionalism, and friendly way in which the project was accomplished."

"Havier and his crew did a remarkable job installing a new sprinkler system. They not only installed the system in one day but I has laid sod ahead of contacting Javier to put in the system. Javier said they would peel back the new sod and hand dig to install the system since the trencher would tear up the sod. Javier was correct everything went back the way it was to start with. You can not tell anything was dug up. Excellent job!!! I would highly recommend Javier Ramos Landscaping LLC for your landscaping needs. They really take pride in their work."

"Robert and his team came out to my property under a quick deadline. They put down 11 pallets of sod with care. Making sure that it was clear of debris and rocks so that it layered flat. They were professional and positive the entire time on site."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Blythewood, SC

The recommended interval for paver maintenance varies based on several factors, including climate conditions, usage patterns, and sealant type. Most surfaces benefit from resealing every two to five years, with more frequent attention needed in harsh environments or high-traffic areas.

Properties with significant tree coverage or water exposure may require more regular maintenance. Annual inspection allows homeowners to identify emerging issues before they require extensive intervention.

Professional service providers offer several advantages, including specialized equipment calibrated for optimal application rates, thorough preparation techniques, and experience identifying underlying issues that might affect sealant performance.

Technicians understand product compatibility with different paver materials and can recommend appropriate solutions for specific conditions. The efficiency and precision of professional application often results in more consistent coverage and potentially longer-lasting protection compared to first-time DIY efforts.

Optimal timing for paver sealing projects depends primarily on weather conditions rather than specific calendar dates. The application requires consistently dry conditions with moderate temperatures, between 50°F and 85°F.

Spring and fall often provide ideal conditions in many regions, avoiding both excessive heat that causes rapid drying and cold temperatures that inhibit proper curing. The surface must be completely dry before application, requiring several consecutive precipitation-free days beforehand.

Initial drying times vary by product type and environmental conditions. Most water-based sealants become touch-dry within two to four hours but require 24 to 48 hours before supporting normal foot traffic.

Solvent-based products need slightly longer initial drying periods but may develop full hardness more quickly. Factors like humidity, temperature, and air circulation significantly influence drying rates. For vehicle traffic or furniture placement, manufacturers recommend waiting at least 48 to 72 hours to ensure complete curing.
