"While I don't write updated reviews often, I feel like this review is warranted just in case you are looking for landscape work versus large scale scopes of work, i.e. patios and half circle driveways. Originally, I was overjoyed with Edgar. He was honest, communicated well and arrived on site to give me his opinions about the project I was taking bids on. Edgar was a dream at the beginning of my project and was honest enough to point out errors in my home concerning foundation issues and tile installation errors by my builder. Over weeks he earned my trust and I took his advice and informed my builder that due to his errors, I would be requesting a credit to my build to allow a third party vendor to complete certain projects. Because the build of the house has been delayed at multiple points, the builder agreed and I turned my full attention to Edgar to make my vision come to life. What I soon gathered was you can't show someone a Pinterest photo and expect them to be able to execute a dream. In this case, not even come up with a estimate or bid to bring the dream to fruition. I met with Edgar on multiple occasions, and even came up with a vision board. Once the ball was in his court, the project seemed sketchy in detail from the start. I waited weeks for a bid so that I could accurately account for the project in my budget and submit to the HOA for approval. Finally, I emailed him and requested the bid after weeks of not hearing from him, to which he responded that I would have them over the weekend. That following Thursday after no bid or communication, I released him with a text that I was disappointed in his lack of communication and that after allowing him to level my yard, he would no longer be needed. He requested a call, but I declined as once you've been released, there's nothing for me to discuss. He did start a process of adding base rock to my yard that now has started to wash away. After speaking to several vendors, I was informed that this process was not needed at the moment because it will be dug up when I install my driveway, the same driveway I was waiting on an accurate Bid for Edgar to provide. I am providing Edgar a 3 instead of a 2 because our working relationship started out as a great experience. He knew that I had already encountered scrupulous contractors and went out of his way to keep me informed. He knew that I was months away from closing and required this information so that I could submit it to my HOA for approval. His absence and lack of communication forced me to go another route with my project because his vision or bid never made it to a concrete stage. My only request as a consumer is that you be clear with him about your timelines and needs and require hard concrete examples of what he can do. I even changed my project to look like something he had recently done on his Instagram because I feared the job was out of his scope. But alas, it all worked out in the end as a new contractor has accepted the job, while more costly, I hate to say sometimes you get what you pay for. I hate that a great working relationship had to end this way. He gained my trust, but in the end, if someone is showing you that they may not work out, TRUST your gut. Ask the hard questions, get multiple bids and verify everything"

"They removed the existing driveway and sidewalk that was damaged. That took only took a day and a half. The 3rd day was going to be for pouring the concrete. Rain for 2 days. They were finally able to pour the 5th day. They definitely know what they are doing. They came back a few days later to remove the molding. They will come back in a few days to remove the caution tape so we can use our driveway. It's beautiful. Thank you."
