"Fabulous work. I have used this company in the past for gutter cleaning (fabulous work there, too), but this is the first time for window cleaning The three-man crew came promptly at 8:15, introduced themselves and talked me through their routine. All removed their shoes while inside, provided floor protection around the areas to be cleaned. Within five minutes they were at work cleaning the insides of all windows including the storms. When a worker came upon a weakness in the glass of one of the storms, he immediately notified me and talked me through the options. As they were cleaning, they gathered up whatever debris might have accumulated. Once they completed the inside windows, they immediately began on the outside.  They completed their work with peak efficiency and all were as pleasant as could be. "Roland Kaufman contacted me within hours of my online inquiry. He scheduled a time for an estimate within a week of the inquiry to replace our back door and add a storm door. When we were ready to proceed with the project he was able to schedule the job within just a few days. Unfortunately, I had ordered and received the incorrect size of door. My husband was able to get the door replaced that same day and Mr. Kaufman patiently waited for us to get the correct door. He could have easily rescheduled the service, but he didn't. "We were incredibly pleased with Robin Campbell Builders during the entire process of building our dream home. We interviewed about eight different builders, with Robin being the last based on reviews we read on Angie's List. His company had good marks across the board. When we met with Robin we immediately felt at ease. He is extremely laid back which may cause you to pause at first because there is so much involved with custom building, but trust me it works better this way and helps to minimize the stress throughout the process. Robin's pricing was very competitive. He has been building houses for decades and has some good contacts with discounted pricing that I believe are best in market for certain trades. Other builders have hidden mark-ups. Not with Robin. What you see is what you get. If you go over, it was a concerted choice to go over on your part. He did very good staying within budget on our home. We had some overages, but they were strictly by choice and for things that were not originally in scope. I highly suggest connecting with Chad (Robin's son) throughout the process, as well. Chad was amazing with staying in constant contact, meeting at the house virtually on demand, and knowing the status of all the major trades at all times. Robin and Chad work great together as a combo and it is clear why they are having so much success now - word of mouth. If you do go with Robin, some advice that he gave us that I will give you - don't try to get everything done at once. Knock out one thing at a time (garage doors, windows, flooring, etc.) and in mostly sequential order and you will be fine and will not get overwhelmed. Like with any build. there are going to be a few things along the way that will need to be corrected. The Campbells were all over these needed corrections and took care of everything in an expeditious manner. Really the only thing I would suggest as an improvement would be ensuring the job site is cleaner. We, as many builders of custom homes, are neat freaks. The job site was frequently dirtier compared to other home build sites. The onsite trades should be held accountable for cleanliness. We have no plans to ever build again as we think we truly got the house of our dreams. However, if we ever take crazy pills and decide to build again Robin & Chad would be our first call. Aside from building wonderful homes they are just great, salt-of-the-earth people. That matters in a world where that is becoming more scarce. You will always be in good hands with Robin Campbell Builders"
