"At the beginning, there was a problem when Mason Man's estimator cancelled my appointment a few minutes before he was to arrive. Since I was in a hurry to repair the sidewalk at my lease house, I requested that another person come out the same day. Mason Man sent another representative to meet with me on the same day, and they were able to schedule the work just a few days later. The crew even stopped to purchase donuts for me when they realized they were running late to my job. The sidewalk repair & other masonry work looks great."

"I reached out to the company even before I purchased the deal to have them come to measure to check on the cost. Ramon came out and measured but never followed up with the estimate. That should have been an indication of the communication and follow up issues I was going to have. I purchased the deal and tried contacting Ramon by phone and text. It took days for him to get back to me. When he did, he misplaced the estimate and had to come out again to measure. He still didn’t give us an estimate. He told my husband to take a picture of the estimate he drew up when he was at the house. When I looked it over, there was no pricing so I had to follow up with him again. He sent a text of the cost. I wasn’t sure Of the next steps. I had told him we were ready to move forward but I didn’t hear back. I received a call back maybe a week or so later and he said I had the go pick out the granite from somewhere in Fort Worth even though I had picked out the granite and the edge from the samples he brought with him the very first time he measured. I drive out to the granite warehouse and picked out the specific slab. I texted him the picture of the paperwork like he asked. He called a few days later and someone needed to come out again and measure again for templates. I had no idea what the whole process entailed. We had our countertops replaced in Illinois and it was nothing like this. After picking out the slab, I waited. It was Christmas time so we decorated for the house. I figured I wouldn’t hear from him until the new year. Monday morning, 2 weeks in front of Christmas, he called and said he was ready to install the next day. I laughed and told him there was no way I could be ready since the had t hire a plumber. I set the date for Friday of that week. They arrived late on Friday and began the breakdown of the existing counters. What a total mess! They told me to empty ththe drawers but no mention of the cabinets. They finished around 8pm that night after waiting for an hour or more for someone else to arrive from their crew to help carry the big piece. He arrived with his girlfriend who didn’t like dogs so I had to put them outside while she was in the house. After they were outside in the cooler weather for a while. I told her I needed to bring them in so she went and sat in the car. The plumber I scheduled showed up and they weren’t done so I had to reschedule him for later that evening. They didn’t finish Friday night and had to come back Saturday morning, which ended up being the afternoon. I cleaned all day Saturday and Sunday since the cabinets were a complete mess. They broke several pieces of dishwear because they broke the existing counters to get them out. They ended up not finishing until that following Monday because the piece of the backsplash they were attempting to install was too short. I think he was planning on shimming it and filling the gap with caulk until my husband explained to him in Spanish that we wanted a new piece. It was such a frustrating process. I would not use them."

"I scheduled a time for them to come and haul my junk. They arrived on time, and I showed them what I wanted hauled off. They thought it might exceed their volume of hauling for the deal, so I told them which things I wanted prioritized. After a few minutes one of the workers knocked on my door and told me his boss wanted to speak with me over his cell phone. So I got on the phone and was told by the boss that my junk exceeded the weight limit for their hauling and that I needed to pay twice as much to get my stuff hauled off. I protested since the special was for cubic yardage of waste hauling with no mention of maximum weight, but he told me that was the only way they would get the job done. Since I really wanted to get the stuff hauled off I paid another $99. The workers then gathered everything up and hauled it away. They were pretty neat about it, but I did have to do a little extra sweeping and raking. I might use them again in the future, but I'll want to make sure that we agree ahead of time on the cost to avoid paying double upon arrival. I found it especially frustrating to be told that my junk weighed too much when there was no mention of weight in their ad."

"Paul and his crew came in the day he said they would and did a fantastic job.  He was not the cheapest estimate or the highest, but without a doubt we made the right choice using Patrick Construction!  Thursday they removed all old concrete, set forms and rebar.  Friday morning 6am they came back finished their prep work long before the inspector showed up.  Three hours after we passed inspection they poured.  Paul is such a nice guy and his crew could not have been harder working, friendlier or more professional!!  They answered all of our dumb questions and handled all concerns immediately.  Thanks Paul!  Tell your guys thanks as well, we really enjoyed them and love their work.
