They pressure wased everything and let it dry, then did whatever sanding, scraping and caulking required to get everything ready for the paint/stain. The house and trim got two coats of paint and the deck got two coats of stain. absolutely no mess when they finished! They protected the plants and adjacent structures from any overspray.
