"Once they got to our home, the work itself was done well and those that performed the work were professional and helpful.  The work supervisor, Buddy was very helpful and accomodating. Really enjoyed working with him.   My frustration came in with the project manager.  I reached out around June 19th or so.  Didn't hear anything from anyone so I emailed again on June 26th. Finally met with him on or around July 11th.  Duirng that time, we had made some changes but didn't get the estimate on the work until Aug 12th with an apology for the delay.  Going back to the emails, I think I have 6 "apologies for the delay" emails.  Work finally began on or about Sept 1.  Adjustments needed to be made to the bill but I never got the new invoice.  I had to reach out in November to get the final. I received the final invoice in December.  <br /> I again reached out to Andrew Roby for siding work.  Reached out in January, sent some pictures to the project manager and never heard back until March at which point I finally received an invoice on additional carpentry repair that was done in December  .  At that point I told them to never mind and informed him that I would no longer be using them. <br /> While I do appreciate the work they did and the work was done well, the overall responsiveness by the project manager made me go elsewhere.  I got the feeling that the handy man work I was asking for may have been too small for this company, in which case, they should have mentioned up front.  If you don't mind waiting forever for things to happen, you'll be happy.  Again, the work itself was done well and the folks that came out were great. <br />"

"It went very smoothly.  I had a voice mail from his Office Manager, Jenny (she's awesome) on Friday, 3.30, that he'd be coming to do the job on Monday, 4.2.    He was here on Monday morning - bright and early - with his team and the pad was poured!  There were no surprises as to cost, layout, what we wanted, etc.  He's incredibly smart and good at what he does.  I asked if he could offer me some suggestions to improve my backyard area (patio or sidewalk from deck to other areas, etc.).  Shortly after that conversation, we walked the area off, he talked about stamped concrete options, colored concrete - to save money over stamped, etc.  and said he'd have Jenny put a proposal together for me.  I had that proposal Monday night. <br /> <br /> These folks are great!  They're professional and just 'good people'.  I would not hesitate to recommend them to any of my friends!"

Although, I consider myself an HGTV enthusiast, nothing can really prepare you for the experience of living in your home <br /> through a remodel. He was great! I appreciate the challenges of his job, yet he consistently returned my calls, answered my questions and found solutions to problems and concerns. The entire crew was very friendly, professional and polite. I would be remissed not to mention Dave and Brent - excellent craftsmanship. <br /> A rainy Spring, meant delays for AKR. Unfortunately, in an effort to meet the demands of all their waiting clients, their staff were really stretched too thin and needed to be in to many places at once. I trust that this is not common practice for them and would definitely consider using them again in the future. Our sunroom is everyone's favorite room in the house. I couldn't be happier with the way this space turned out. I believe you will be making an excellent choice to do business with this company."
