"We do not recommend Hernanadez Landscaping. After at least 3 requests to for a written estimate, including the night before the project (we had to call for the arrival time), it was never provided. Red Flags! Jerry claims he sent it via the Angi app, and that he isn't given any personal contact information. However, he had previously asked for and gotten my personal email. When he first came to give an oral estimate, we liked the crew and agreed that they would install a walkway that matched the pavers of a connecting walkway, remove some trees and a brush pile, and clean the patio. When they arrived to start, we were told they didn't have the matching pavers. When we spoke with Jerry on the phone, it seemed he wasn't entirely sure which job was ours. At this point we cancelled the walkway project but asked him to do the other part of the job. The next thing we knew, the crew was packing up to leave. Jerry took no responsibility for the problems. One star is for the nice crew."

His team is friendly, meticulous, and also clearly dedicated to making sure the work was beautiful. Our neighbors continue to say how our front wall looks like a piece of art. I really appreciate how Rodney communicates as well. He encouraged us to text him with any questions and came to the site often to meet with us to make sure we were partnering all along the way. And as a woman who works from home, I felt really respected by Rodney and the workers while they were here - which isn’t always the case as I know all women have experienced. "We had a crumbling front stair that needed repair within a short time. After getting quotes from multiple different contractors we decided to go forward with Jose and his team. He was able to prove a very competitive quote as well as was able to do the work with fast turnaround. We decided against a fix but had him tear down and redo the complete set of stairs. Very high quality of work, very quick communication and execution of the project. Can highly recommend Jose and his team!"

"Leisha and the team at Garden’s by the Yard helped me address some very difficult landscaping issues. Our lot borders conservation land and is slopped and extremely rocky. In addition, it is not accessible to heavy machinery. We experienced significant drainage and erosion issues. The team put in two French drains to help with erosion and Leisha developed a planting plan that leaned toward natives, would provide multiple season colors, aid in water control and would thrive in our complex soil conditions. They also installed an irrigation system to help set us up for success. The team has returned multiple times to check on the plantings and provide additional upkeep and guidance The yard turned out beautiful and I am extremely pleased. Leisha and her team were knowledgeable and easy to work with. The crews were hard-working and extremely respectful of our property."

"Very responsive, arrived day after phone call to review the job and discuss scope of work. We had to repair a large area in our cobblestone off-street parking space after a tree had been removed and the stump ground. Did a beautiful job re-laying cobblestones, and cleaning up perimeter areas and boundaries with flower beds. Crew of 3 worked hard for a day and a half. Very flexible as our ideas about certain details of the job developed as the work went on."
