I had some stone stairs leading to my patio; after I added a wrought iron handle railing, the stones where the railing posts were anchored all cracked and started to break off. "I never have seen a crew work so hard in this blistering heat! I hired Original Masonry for a relatively small project, tearing up my old garage floor and pouring a new one. Krenar pointed out that there was literally no garage foundation under the garage walls, and he identified areas in the cinder blocks where I was getting a good deal of water making the garage damp and smelly. After considerable thought, I decided to have Original Masonry jack up the garage, lay a proper foundation and rebuild the cinder block walls, putting in a curtain drain around the garage to take care of any future water issues. "My chimney was significantly cracked and had pieces of brick falling off of it. Additionally, I was getting water in my fireplace every time it rained hard. I called Saul at Chimney Safe; he scheduled an appointment immediately and was prompt in arriving. After thoroughly inspecting my fireplace, going into the crawlspace in the lower level of the house to look at the boiler/furnace, and going onto the roof to check the chimney (something none of the other contractors I had out did), Saul gave me an extremely good quote to do a substantial rebuild of my chimney.
