"<p>We contacted Mikes for our original installation in may and were told that due to already scheduled jobs, our job would be about 4 weeks out, which we agreed to. About 11/2 weeks later, they called and said that a job had cancelled and they could install ours the upcoming Saturday which was 2 weeks ahead of schedule! We were pleasantly surprised!</p> <p>They were scheduled for 8:00 a.m. and arrived at 7:30 and promptly started the job. The 2 man crew were very professional and obviously knew their trade well. I asked Don to change my quote 4-5 times as my ideas changed trying to imaging our deck. Don was very happy to update our estimate until we were happy with our design. "All went according to plan.  This is a reputable company and after talking to 4 or 5 of their employees, it is clear that they have a culture dedicated to serving their customers promptly and professionally, yet with a very friendly attitude.   <br /> After many bad contractor experiences as a real estate professional (investor), I am willing to pay a little extra for such great service.  I won't be calling any other garage door company in the future. <br />"

"They were great. One of the posts wasn't quite right so I called them on Friday and they just came today to fix it, so that was fast. The young men that work for him were very good, Brian Wicket is the foreman and he stayed with them all the time. He even gave me his cell phone number because he said the office sometimes gets busy and he called back that evening when I called them for the rework. The young men that put it in were very nice and knew what they were doing. They called two days ago to apologize for not being able to get out here sooner. We were very happy with them. They cleaned up their mess, they brought all their stuff, and we didn't have to do anything really. It was pretty nice. When they first came out we didn't know much about what we wanted but I kind of knew I wanted vinyl and I knew I wanted black vinyl for the chain link fence so that it looked a little nicer and they brought everything. We got two quotes, they were cheaper but not that much, maybe about $400 cheaper, and I really liked what they had to offer compared to the others. The other companies were more reputable but I liked the personal part of my interaction with the people of Michiana Fence. They called, they told me when they would do it, they called a week ahead of time to say they would be over that following week if it didn't rain and they kept following up with phone calls, so the communication was excellent and I was pleased with that. They took their time with us, they had brochures and they told us where they bought the fence. Everything was written down on the contract, the installation, what they were going to do, how many and what that cost was going to be, the tax and everything. I wanted some steel supports under one fence and he added that on. We paid them half and then they did not take any more money until they were all done. They just worked with us. They did it one day and it was a small job too but they treated it as if it were a big job. I would refer them to my best friend but they are not in our town, they are about twenty miles away but they service our area. They can do right with the big boys."

"It went better than I'd imagined. And I had some high hopes -- all of which were met or exceeded throughout my experience with 4T. From the early morning phone call, I enjoyed prompt and courteous service. The receptionist was kind and attentive. They were able to work me in in the early afternoon -- and were so considerate as to call ahead! <br /> They arrived promptly at hour we'd agreed upon earlier in the morning. The technician assessed the situation and in approximately five minutes had begun working to remedy the problems. Not more than forty-five minutes later, the garage door was in perfect working order. <br /> The price was very reasonable for the work done. Further, the level of service and quality of experience were exceptional. I highly recommend 4T for anyone needing repair-work done on a garage door. "He was building during a rainy month, so it took longer than he said. It was completely understandable. When he couldn't work because of the weather, he called to let us know.  Even though it wasn't his fault, he upgraded the siding to one more expensive than he quoted to make it up to us.  The only category that I didn't give him an A in was his responsiveness.  If I emailed or texted him with a question, sometime it took two or three days to get back to me, but he always thoroughly answered my question. <br />"

"New fence and gates look good. Cal-Pro builds the fence on-site, rather than installing pre-built panels. Not sure if that is better, but it's different. (Gates are pre-built in their shop.) Estimator/salesman was excellent. Installing crew was good, but we had to call them back to fix a couple of things. And we never did get the gate handle for the inside of the back gate. Black latch hardware was just painted, and so the paint chipped everywhere the two sections of the latch came into contact. <br /> I have tried to reach the company recently, to get a quote on doing another section of fence. But my emails have not been answered, and I just get a phone company recording when I try their phone numbers. When I click a link to their website, it takes me to a different fence company in Mishawaka. So maybe they have moved and changed their name, or merged with another company. <br />"

"We actually used them a couple of times this summer. They were great and I can't say anything bad. It's a very high quality and they got the job done quickly. I think the price is reasonable for the quality that we're getting."

"Had a leak in the ceiling - they came out discovered that the leak was coming from the roof vent covering the bath room stand pipe. They went to a supply store, purchased the vent covering, ran some water over the newly installed vent covering and that solved the problem. They also checked the rest of the roof to see if everything else was ok, as I requested, and it was. Finally, they returned the next day to check if the attic insulation needed replacing due to the water leakage, and it does not. <br /> There was no charge for that return trip, but I felt compelled to TIP them $40.00, that seemed to be the honest thing to do on my part. <br />"
