"Eric Valdovinos Concrete is top notch. We have been looking for professional concrete contractors for a year and have been unsuccessful, until we heard from Eric. He came out and gave a quote which was competitive with other contractors. When we signed, He had everything planned and then executed flawlessly. His demolition guys, Tomas and Cergio took out existing sidewalks without damaging any adjacent work. For our driveway extension, Mario and Eric excavated an existing dirt weed garden. This was the most difficult part of the project. The team Juan, Damian, Cergio and Tomas set up the forms, grading and rebar, tied with wire. For the driveway extension, rebar was put into the existing driveway and extension was 6 inches thick. Finally, the icing on the cake - the pouring and finishing of the concrete to match existing work, the expansion joints were perfect and matched existing work. Eric, Juan, Jose, Hugo, Tomas, Damian and Pedro. Everything blended beautifully. I Highly recommend this team for any concrete work you will need, these guys are pros! "I had a unique problem, a steep driveway and a new sports car that could not get into the garage without completely bottoming out. I contacted Home Advisor on a Friday afternoon, heard from Allen Winters on the weekend, he came out Monday, spent an hour coming up with a solution which he presented very clearly. Then came out on Wednesday to cut and hammer out a 7' long by 10' wide area, which on Thursday got filled with a new concrete ramp to take out the old dip into the garage. We then had him do a second project of installing flag stone. Owner is the site guy too and detail oriented. They will be back for some concrete work next month. "Very happy with the performance of Babylon Gardens. Good communication throughout, and a first class crew performed the work. I met with Rony and after a little back and forth on the project scope was able to schedule the work. Originally planned for 5 days, Rony's foreman and his team completed the work in 3 days (there had been a weather delay and they were as interested in getting the work done on time as I was)! Rony's foreman Juan knew his stuff, and truly went the extra mile, including performing some extra work which Rony covered under the original quote - greatly appreciated! Specifically, when Rony and I walked the job, we had agreed that rather than installing extra drainage, Rony would ensure the crew graded the slope down to the existing drain. Juan determined that was not the right way to do it, and installed a new drain in an ideal location. He also laid down some pavers which was outside the scope. It was just a few, to create a little accent where there would have been a dirt void between my side yard where a concrete walk was laid, and the sod that was installed in the back yard. Again, Juan did this, and even though it wasn't a lot of extra work, it was above and beyond the scope, but illustrates to me that the company and this crew is more interested in customer satisfaction and exemplary work than just the money. I will definitely call Rony the next time I need work done!"
