"Courteous, prompt, professional, and in force. I had a large driveway and they tackled it in one day. They scraped it, added a new base, and put down the base and top coat in one day. They even spread out some of the soil they removed in a nearby depression adding more to my yard. They go the extra mile and clearly care. I can see why they have been around so long."

"Contractor cooperated with  trying to get window installed prior to onset of winter and negotiating a price for a portion of the work to be done in December (window install) with window well installation to follow in spring.  Homeowner provided excavated area for access to foundation. <br /> Crew showed up as scheduled.  Opening  was marked out and then cut free hand with concrete saw.  Concrete was pulled out of opening, jack hammered into small pieces and removed by hand.  Opening was then framed, siliconed, water shield, drilled and screwed to foundation.  When it came time to install window, it was discovered the opening was too small due to an non-square opening.   This required removal of window, pulling off the water shield. hacking and chiseling away a good portion of the framing, reinstall damaged water shield, and reinstalling the window. <br /> After window was fully installed, it was discovered that the windows did not close squarely and  only the bottom window lock would engage easily, but the top one required pushing on one of the sliders in order to lock the top lock.  Also, when the framing was hacked away to gain some extra room to allow setting the window, it was not cut evenly the full depth of the framing.  This ultimately created an obstruction on the inside when it came time to trim out the window. <br /> Long story short - I spent a day removing the window entirely, cutting away framing full depth, supporting sill full length on a flat level sill rather than using and couple shims to support the window and installied window per manufacturers instruction. <br /> I was expecting a more accurate and square concrete cut using a track/rail system that may have prevented many of the these problems.  The concrete opening measurements should have been verified before framing the opening and the window framing checked for square before installing water shield and window.. <br />"

"Steve responded promptly to my first inquiry call. He showed up the day we decided to meet to discuss our project and vision. <br /> He delivered us a quote for the job and it fit within the budget we had set aside- a nice surpise. Steve and his team of highly talented landscapers delivered the needed equipment, and worked very h****** the project to completion. <br /> We went from a scarce yard with more weeds than actual grass to a beautiful lush lawn in a matter of about 15 days from beginning to end. Steve's knowledge of the type of seed that will work best in our climate is paramount, as is the soil condition- he understands it all and wants his customers to be completely satisfied. <br /> Now a days when some contractors can't even return the first phone call it's refreshing to know that a company with values like Key Landscape are still around! I highly recomend Steve and would hire him back in a second for our next undertaking! <br /> Thanks Key Landscaping for providing us with the lawn of our dreams!! <br />"

"I recently hired A Plus Paving to extend and seal my driveway, and I'm very satisfied with the results. The team was professional throughout the entire process and delivered exactly what they promised. The driveway extension work was done expertly - it blends seamlessly with my existing driveway and looks fantastic. The sealing job also came out great and has given my driveway a fresh, well-maintained appearance. The crew was reliable, completed the work in a timely manner, and left the area clean when finished. Their communication was clear from start to finish, and the final result exceeded my expectations. I would definitely recommend A Plus Paving to anyone looking for quality driveway work. Very satisfied with their service!"

"It went very well. <br /> Of course, it was a lot more money than I anticipated.  When the sink was removed, there was stuff that wasnt up to code that had to be redone, and some mice damage that needed to be repaired.  There were problems with the walls, <br /> so they pretty much needed to be rebuilt. <br /> <br /> The ceramic tile installation is a work of art, <br /> <br /> Crew was professional and thorough. <br /> They have done a lot of work on a neighbor's house and it looks great. <br /> <br /> CAn't wait till I have more money to have them do more. <br />"

"Richard and his team did an amazing job. I heard about them via referral and Richard called me back the same day I called them to inquire about getting my driveway done. He came out to the location the same day, and I got a quote right away. Him and his team was timely, and took great care in ensuring they have clean lines, proper grading etc. they will be coming back to seal cost once my driveway is cured. Very happy overall and would recommend them to anyone!"

"Warmzone has been very responsive. However, the installers made mistakes installing the system and when they went to correct it, somehow caused damage that made the system inoperable. They had to come back a year later and redo it. Now it works pretty good. Every time I've had questions Warmzone has been very responsive. i would use them again--but use their recommended installers and not my contractors who did it last time. <br /> One caveat: The system doesn't always work perfectly in very cold weather with fast accumulating snow. We have old-fashioned clay brick pavers. Next time I'll send Warmzone a sample of the pavers so that they can test for the power needed to operate the system effectively. <br /> But--they sell a great product and they're very helpful to deal with. They'll get right on the phone with you and troubleshoot, even long after the sale. <br />"

FAQs for concrete driveways & floors installation projects in Brattleboro, VT

Polished concrete floors offer many benefits with very few drawbacks. While issues like discoloration, stains, or imprints may occur during pouring, these are rare when working with a skilled flooring contractor. Once polished, concrete floors are easy to maintain, long-lasting, and eco-friendly. They also resist mold and moisture, making them ideal for allergy-prone households, and offer versatile design options for both indoor and outdoor use.

Polished concrete flooring is often more affordable than tile. It involves lower material costs and less labor-intensive installation. Tile installations require additional leveling and preparation, which increases labor costs. Opting for concrete flooring helps reduce upfront expenses and provides a durable, stylish finish that saves money over time with minimal maintenance.

While epoxy flooring offers enhanced durability and toughness compared to polished concrete, it comes with higher material and labor costs. If budget is a top priority, polished concrete floors provide a resilient and attractive finish without the premium price tag, making them an ideal choice for value and long-term performance.

Polished concrete floors last 20 years or more when installed by licensed professionals and maintained with proper care. Their enduring finish withstands heavy use and remains visually impressive for decades. Regular deep cleaning and maintenance help safeguard the floor’s integrity, providing homeowners with a long-lasting, cost‐effective solution that endures daily wear without compromising style.

Polished concrete floors increase home value by offering a modern, sleek appearance and exceptional durability. A professionally installed floor not only enhances visual appeal but also minimizes maintenance expenses, making the property more attractive to prospective buyers. This flooring upgrade delivers a refined look while boosting overall market competitiveness and long-term property value.
