The repair required that a section of shingles be removed so matching the new shingles to the existing shingles on the 8-year-old roof was a concern. The match is so close that it is nearly impossible to tell the new from the existing shingles. The shingle match, alignment of the new gable rafter with the existing gable rafter at the top, and paint job on the new wood gave us the quality results we were hoping for. "in the beginning the information and plan to repair the roof was honest and not just a patch job which I appreciated even though it was the more expensive option. During the project communication was poor. I didn't know when they were coming and the workers never texted or checked in with me to update me. I would text them and not hear back. There was an issue reinstalling the gutter guards and again no communication with the plan or when they were going to finish the job. I just got the invoice. Work appears to be done. The actual workers were clean and did the job. I just want more communication about the project then I got."

I would recommend hiring Elias if you get changes in writing. They cleaned up pretty well although they missed a few things due to finishing in the dark. Overall satisfied with the job and cost was 60% of other bids due to sheathing adjustment."

Steve was there as soon as the weather allowed and got a tarp on our roof the day the tree was removed. It took weeks to get the insurance company to approve the claim but during that time, Steve sourced the materials so they were ready to go when we got the approval. The crews were fast, efficient and left the site pretty clean. The repaired section was blended into the existing roof so well that you couldn't tell where the repaired section stopped and started.
