"I looked up Jeremy on Facebook and asked him to come by and look at my yard and give an estimate. He was very responsive and after he looked it over and gave me a reasonable quote he scheduled a day and kept me informed of his schedule. He has stayed in schedule and does a great job on my yard. He takes care to trim around my entire fence and all the shrubs. He blows the clippings off the driveway and front porch. Very neat and tidy job."

"First off, NEK is a hauling business meaning they are hired vehicle and equipment, hauled over distances. Nathan also does a great job with this job where he/they are helping prepare for a remodel (tear-out, removal). Pricing is stout but fair for what he delivers. Professional, prompt, excellent communication, and hard work are all qualities you can expect from this outfit. They are about halfway through our job and coming back in a week â I have no doubt theyâ ll be good to their word and return to finish on time. You might not have that peace of mind with 90% of other contractors. Been there. Very happy with NEK Hauling."

FAQs for landscape soil, sand, mulch and rock delivery projects in Bridgeport, WV

Topsoil packs your garden with the nutrients plants crave, improves soil structure, and lets water drain at just the right pace. The result is a welcoming planting bed that makes routine chores—like weeding and aerating—far easier. In short, quality topsoil boosts fertility, builds stronger root systems, and keeps your landscape looking vibrant season after season.

If you’re tackling a large area and have room to store extra soil, bulk delivery almost always wins on price. Bags cost more per cubic yard but arrive clean, sealed, and easy to haul around tight spaces or raised beds. Match the option to your square footage, storage space, and muscle power, and you’ll find the most cost-effective and hassle-free choice for your project.

First, measure the square footage you want to cover, then decide on a layer—most gardens thrive with 4 to 8 inches of fresh topsoil. A 40-pound bag spreads over 12 square feet at a depth of one inch. Multiply your area by the desired depth (in inches), divide by 12, and you’ll know exactly how many bags to load in the cart. Using this quick formula guarantees even coverage and a healthy, vibrant garden bed.
