"What a great experience it was to work with Chip and Dale Ironworks. I wanted a custom gate that reflected where I live. Randy was my first contact. He listened to my request and came up with a design I love. Once I made a decision, then it took a week to make and a day to install. I appreciate the high quality work that went into fabrication, parts used, and the installation of this gate. The next day, Jim ran the needed tests, checked the operation of the system, and explained how to operate the gate including any challenges that might arise. I am receiving many compliments for this gate from my neighbors and passerby’s. The operation is super quiet and smooth. I appreciate the talent and knowledge that went into the making of this gate and the fact that I received a custom gate for a fraction of the estimated costs other companies quoted for a plain gate. "Micah at Stellar Construction, was the only one of 5 fence installers that responded to my Angie’s list bid requests. I’m very glad he did because his company did a fantastic job replacing the back of my fence after a tree fell on part of it - total of 114’, tree only damaged 15’. At first, he estimated 4-6 weeks before he had space in his schedule, but they ended up having a last minute opening within the week. He finished the job, with full cleanup, in 2 days. "David did a great job.  I thought we had a problem with our Master Spring but he determined that the spring was fine and did not need to be replaced. He suggested some maintenance work be done. He moved and lubed   a couple of roller mounts,  secured the garage door motor more securely, added rubber padding to the bottom of the door on both sides to make it seal properly and adjusted the tension on the spring to make the door move up and down more easily. Took about an hour and well worth it."

"It went well.  Michael was competent and creative.  The service call was to attach the sensors which kept falling off.  He did much more, including removing the "smile" at the bottom of the wood double  size garage door.   This was a pleasant surprise since other companies had previously said there was no easy fix other than replacing the door. "

He gave a detailed description of the planned work, including use of more concrete and deeper holes with steel posts. "We left a message and he returned our call the same day. He came out, took time to answer our questions and discuss what they would do. They were book out about 4 weeks, pretty much the norm this time of year, but we got a surprise call earlier than expected and they came out that day and completed the work in about 5 hrs. They did a great job, were very professional and friendly, and their price was very fair. We'd had another estimate that was more and then found out they would charge us several hundred dollars more to the old fence torn down and hauled away. Diamond's estimate included tearing down old fence and hauling away. The very next day, Bill called to see if we were happy with the job or if there were any problems. We couldn't be more pleased with the fence and their services."

"John and his staff built and installed a new fence for part of my backyard. It looks great, and I've already received several compliments for it. John is conscientious with attention to details as well as the project as a whole. I appreciate his good work and will no doubt enjoy having this new addition. "Paul and his assistant did a so-so job. He came out and did the estimate in the fall, and seemed like a pleasant, straightforward guy. I decided to move forward on the project and scheduling it was simple and communication was clear. <br /> They built two horizontal fences, one with an arbor, and  both with gates. They seem well constructed, and he listened to what I wanted and made suggestions based on his experience when appropriate. <br /> I have updated this review though because once spring came and I was in the yard more, I realized they had done a really bad job of  clearing up the project. The large pile of "dirt" they had left in the garden bed was largely concrete rubble (clearing up the job was part of the bid, so this left me with a mess to deal with), and they positioned at eye level of the main gate post the dark manufacturing printing  on the wood, a bit of an eyesore."

"<p>The existing stairs and landing were starting to crumble and needed to be replaced.  Ron came out and gave an estimate that was in the middle of the estimates that I got.  He also impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism so I went with him even though he was scheduled 3-4 weeks in advance.  We were able to schedule around a business trip that I had.  The crew was hard-working, courteous and knew what they were doing.  The only slight negative was that the work took a day longer than estimated (three days instead of two) but the price was the same -- I just had to work from home an additional day.  I've received compliments on the stairs and would consider Ron for other work.  While he was here we informally discussed options/costs for a retaining wall and patio pavers.</p> <br />"
