"I was very impressed with Carl at our first meeting. He was very honest about his schedule and stated that due to the large number of pending jobs, it could be a long time before he could start any new projects. However, after considering the many outstanding reviews he received and that I knew I was dealing with a mason of superior quality and knowledge, I knew he would be well worth the wait. Work started late May. The brick wall and column at the front of our row house had to be removed and rebuilt, also the pointing mortar in (4) sections of stone wall at the rear of the property was removed and all joints were pointed with new mortar in a ribbon joint to match original pointing. Carl and his crew were punctual, friendly and super professional. He transformed a hideous mass of brick wall and column into a beautiful work of art! Carl skillfully separated our brick from the adjoining brick and stucco wall next door and meticulously applied a smooth finish to the uneven concrete overhang on the landing directly above our new brick wall as well as smoothed out all rough edges on the stucco wall on the adjoining row house. He created a high quality cohesive finish between the two row homes. The pointing of the stonework at the rear of the house is equally as beautiful. It is so neat and precise; took my breath away. He is a superior artisan! Amazing!! I highly recommend Artistic Masonry (aptly named) again. Looking forward to the next project. Do not hesitate to wait for these guys. (Photos will follow)."

We could not be more pleased with that decision. He was highly responsive; knew how to properly handle brick and stone work at our historic old property; worked to match the mortar material, color(s) and pointing technique; price was more than fair; and all work was done on time to a high standard. "John and his team did an excellent job with the gut renovation of our large tiled shower. He took the time to diagnose what had caused the cracking and shifting in our original concrete pan to make sure the rebuild would not have the same issues down the road. Tiling, grouting, trim, and moulding installation was exacting and looked great. While John was doing the shower we also asked if he could do several other completely unrelated jobs (re-build old, unsafe basement stairs, wire a socket and switch for a new light fixture, patch ceiling drywall) and he did a great job with those as well. Communication was very easy throughout the process - John always kept us aware of any issues and consulted with us immediately on decisions. We will be working with John and his team again."

We worked on those ideas and visited the showroom several times to compare materials etc. The final design was beautiful and fit our needs perfectly. All Keystone’s employees and subcontractors did a great job building the deck. The landscapers prepared the site and landscaped after the deck was complete. The concrete crew and stonemasons were excellent. The building crew, led by Reuben, was superb. Many of our friends are in construction and they all commented on the quality of work and materials.
