Honest and honorable, when they saw I didn't have the tiles I needed (which I thought I could provide before they started work), they gave me a significant break on the original(already extremely reasonable)quote; and still prepared the wall to make future tile installation easy. When the saw a very small area near the area worked on that they thought might need a small patch, (without my asking) they asked me if I'd like them to give it patch it as part of the other work. The worker did a great job within the time they quoted. They found a pipe from upstairs had a small leak, affecting discoloration of the wall they were to paint. Rather than leave their work to be ruined by the ongoing leak, they volunteered (after showing me) to paint up to a point,and make arrangements to come back after I can get management to fix the leak from upstairs. "On March 2, 2024, I contacted Abid Construction. I had small damage to my ceiling by an upstairs leaky radiator. Also, in another room, minor damage to the ceiling and wall due to a roof leak. I engaged Abid Construction to do the above repairs and also to re-caulk my shower stall that had a small leak and to re-caulk around the sink in the powder room. Well, the work done on the ceiling and wall was really excellent. However, much to my dismay I had to call Abid Construction back 3 times because the caulking of the shower stall was so poorly done that made it worse than when he started. By my 3rd call I told Abid that I would caulk the shower stall myself. But no, he insisted that he would come the next morning. He did not come, nor did he call. I ended up caulking the stall myself and it has not leaked since. I made the mistake of paying in full without a holdback to ensure satisfaction. Caulking the shower needs hours to dry prior to use so I paid the full amount. The caulking around the powder room sink also does not look professional at all."
