"These guys came in, spent over an hour assessing the situation. They were sympathetic to our story. Very kind. They are very popular, and busy, but within a few weeks was ready to work. They never once no showed, they came early and stayed late. They cleaned their own messes, they were respectful of our home. Scott kept in constant communication. Within 3 days they had gutted out the floor that we paid 2 different guys to fix, same with the ceiling.....and in those 3 days they replaced both with perfection. Their sheetrock guy came in, then they returned to tile, and put up fixtures, etc. Only regret is i wish i had had them wire the bathroom as well, instead of having it done prior to, and then now waiting on electrician to return!!!"

"Our "only" negative comment about Ground Zero Shelters is that they do not come to a persons residence to give the sales pitch and demonstration. You must go to their showroom or see their product at a home show. This being said, we were extremely happy with the sales experience, reminders and installation of our shelter. They called about 10 days prior to the installation for a reminder, their installers called the day before and the morning of the installation to remind us that they would be at our home at the designated time. They showed up as promised and were completed with the installation in less than 1 1/2 hours time! Thank you Ground Zero!"

We accepted the bid. Arrived the next morning to start the job. I love that they took more pictures of each step of the project, I know that they did the job correct. A+++++++"

"This isn't an easy roof even without the metal roof that was existing. Ours is extremely steep yet these guys weren't intimidated at all. They called and were able to start a week ahead of the scheduled start (score extra points there), arrived on time daily, finished earlier than anticipated and throughly cleaned up the yard afterwards. They took extra care not to disturb the plants in the yard even though to me, the roof was the bigger concern, plants are great but a leaky roof getting fixed was upper most in importance. The crew were respectful and seemed to work like a well honed engine. I have no doubt that only mother nature's worst will cause me to need their services again but should the need arise, I will call them without a doubt."

"I had previously contracted with one of the big box companies to replace a hot water heater that had quit working in one of our rentals.  They failed to show up.  I canceled that contract and called Landon.  Because the person living in the apartment had no hot water, Landon said he  would make time to complete the job that day as he considered the situation an emergency.  We were very grateful for his caring nature.  Landon brought the new hot water heater and he and a helper installed the until that afternoon.  The space for removing the old unit was very tight.  The trim and dry wall had to be torn down in another apartment during a previous install.  We told Landon we understood that they would probably need to do the tear down and then repair the damage in this one as well.  Landon and his helper worked and struggled until they got the unit out with no damage.  There was hot water flowing when the tenant returned that evening.  That is about as good as it gets!"

Mr. Haas stayed in contact with us for more than a month to ensure that any questions or issues we had were addressed."

"The very first thing they did was to call and quot;julieand quot;, the utility locating service. I don't think that the average Joe working out of the back of his pickup would have even bothered, but they did it first! <br /> They removed the garage, made a huge mess, and cleaned it up. <br /> They went after the stumps, one of which was right up against my neighbor's stockade fence. I warned them to be careful, but they destroyed a section of fence anyway. In the time it took me to go to the kitchen to get a soda and return they had installed a new fence section. If I were operating a construction company, these are the people I would want working for me! <br />"

"The work was very good our only issue is that they committed to us that any damage as a result of their work would be taken care of.  When their crew was taking down the scaffolding they broke two steps on our patio.  They came out looked at the damage and took the two stones to try and find a match.  The tiles they returned with did not match.  For a long time we never heard anything back from them regarding what else they were doing to try and match the stones.  We tried to reach them several times over the course of 8 months before they returned one of the original stones so we could try and find a replacement on our own.  It has now been over a year since we had them replace our roof, and we have found a local contractor to repair our patio and Chambers has never contacted us to reconcile the cost associated with this. <br />"
