"Trevor and his crew had come and scoped the job giving us an estimate. After we agreed they were chosen to the work, we were given a starting date. The crew showed up on time and worked for two and a half days to prepare the area for the patio extension and build a beautiful retaining wall for the area that set back into the hill. The stairs to the front door were replaced with newly constructed rebar and structural elements that will last for many more years than the original stair that only lasted 24 years. The new stairs now match the full width of the front porch which now looks much more symmetrical. The pad leading up to the stairs was enlarged and lengthened. They came back on the third day and the concrete was poured and finished. When they finished the work they made sure they cleaned up the job site and left everything as it was before. Trevor and his crew did an excellent job and we are so happy with how the job turned out and we highly recommend them for any work you may need completed."

"Brian came over after we had talked with several contractors about a concrete porch underside (in basement room) and one of those contractors made us think the concrete was in such a bad state of "imminent failure" that it needs a full replacement.So, while we continued to get quotes for a full replacement, we also asked a retired architect friend to give his opinion. He did not think concrete was so bad and he was glad we were having a structural engineer (Brian) coming over a few days later. Brian explained why he did not think the concrete was in need of full replacement (very expensive!) and also the damage was not a foundation/structure integrity issue (not "imminent failure"). We had spoken to several contractors and the cost to fully replace is upwards of 15-20 thousand dollars. From the state of the concrete, Brian did not believe the "symptoms" warranted a full replacement and that the more likely issue was simply that we never "sealed" the concrete with epoxy (and only painted the concrete porch). Given the sky-rocketing costs to do any home repairs, it seems more reasonable for us to do first level repair (not replace) that Brian suggests. Brian's honest and informative consultation (for free!!!) is piece of mind and a HUGE savings. We greatly appreciate Brian coming over to educate us - on his own dime. We will definitely ask Brian to come over again if/when we think we need an honest assessment of our home foundation needs."

It looks great. The adjoining laundry area was created out of an enclosed porch. They had to plumb and wire the area. Also a new floor was installed. They took time to carry the washer and dryer up from the basement and make sure they worked properly. "In March 2011, a rock pad was laid as a foundation for our large garage being delivered.  Excellent work performed.  As a result of the impressive, professional job done, we had Rock a Fellas redo our deck in July, 2011.  A re-decking took place with Timbertech decking materials with radiance rails.  This was not an easy job, but Rock was very helpful in offering important advice and opinions on where to select materials etc.  He also took care of ordering the dumpster to haul away debris, a detail which can be overlooked by an overwhelmed customer.  He also rectified any concerns/issues with a prompt, professional manner which ultimately led to our great satisfaction when job was completed. <br />"
