"Contracted Federal Building and Roofing with Richard and his team after Listening to Richard's suggestions during the estimate. Had bad water damage to many Rafter Tails as well as a severe leak in the garage, Had several Contractors out for estimates some wanting to go a much more expensive route to repair the damaged wood on the Rafters as well as suggesting a complete Torch down on the entire roof which was not needed, which came with a less than desirable Warranty along with higher costs. Richard gave me peace of mind with his knowledge and suggestions which in turn provided a much longer Warranty and cheaper more effective route to repairing the damaged Rafter tails,all at a very reasonable price compared to other estimates. Any Contractor should have been able to provide me with these suggestions and alternatives but failed to do so. Richard and his team were Professional, polite,cleaned up thoroughly each and every day and completed the job on time as scheduled."

It goes without saying that a new roof is a significant home project that you want done correctly, especially considering the investment. I read up on what to look for online and arranged to get proposals from multiple companies. From the beginning, I was very impressed with the professionalism of Preferred Roofing. It is obvious that they stand behind the quality and craftsmanship of any home they work on! Aaron came to my house, took all the requisite measurements and evaluated the condition of the existing roof. He was on time, knowledgeable and extremely helpful throughout the process. He went the extra mile for an excellent outcome. In fact, Aaron and his crew were able to help solve an issue I had with my older AC base. Without a doubt, they are solution oriented. Aaron was regularly in contact with me and explained what was necessary as the worked progressed – the company provided exceptional customer service and are very responsive. I had a new cool roof installed and it is absolutely beautiful. The quality is outstanding. During the removal of the old roof, it was discovered that numerous pieces of wood on the roof deck indeed needed replacing, as did about half of the fascia boards. All the terms were upfront so there were no unexpected surprises. The foreman was competent and skilled, as were all the workers. Everyone was friendly and courteous. The crew was there on-time every morning and cleaned up the work site every afternoon. I never saw a nail on the driveway! Although the bid for the work was more expensive than others I received, the workmanship was well worth the cost. I would definitely utilize their services again – but I doubt I will ever need to do that! They gave me an amazing roof. I had an extremely positive experience with this company and highly recommend them."

"Ricardo Guzman arrived on time and performed the work in an expert, professional and clean manor. He went the extra mile and corrected some sloppy work the electrician did which loosened some roof tiles. Ricardo even painted all the pipes so they would be consistent! He cleaned up all the gutter leaves and swept around the area he worked. He then provided pictures of all the work he had done. THIS COMPANY IS GREAT! THEY PROVIDE PICTURES OF THE ROOF AND WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE THEN THEY PROVIDE AFTER PICTURES!!! When we need our roof done which is hopefully not soon, we will hire them. I will hire them to do roof maintenance (gutters etc) on a regular basis. The whole process from beginning to end was great!!"

They were not prepared to repair my roof upon first observation, however, they were able to secure the exposed area so as not to allow further damage from the impending rain storms. We survived the rain, they returned the next business day after the rains. Roof is repaired and I’m completely satisfied with my overall experience.
