"The very polite crew showed up on time. They immediately laid down a protective path to the room being painted in order to keep mud or dirt or paint from getting on our floors. The project was to paint our master bathroom and they were done in less than an hour. The finished product was excellent and most of all they are very reasonably priced. I do intend to hire them for additional home improvement projects."

"I have used Texas Painting Company on multiple projects over the last few years. The owner Jeff is very knowledgeable which makes it effortless on my part. A quote is always furnished within 24 hours, the scope is clear, the work is always completed before my deadlines and the clean up after the work is finished is impeccable. Very reasonably priced, fast, efficient, professional and I would recommend this company to all of my friends and family."

Customers say: True professional

"Ernesto and his crew were amazing from start to finish. He was so kind and really paid attention to detail. He re-stained and repaired our back patio railing as well as painted our farmhouse interior/exterior doors. We will definitely call him again for any painting we need done at our home. Definitely a 5 star rating."

Small jobs welcome

"Luis and his helper did a fabulous job on my 40 year old oak kitchen cabinets today. They look like new now! Also mirror frame and vanity in my bathroom were all water stained and ugly and now they are transformed! Luis is very skilled in many areas of carpentry and remodeling. Very nice guy too, explains things patientlly and listens to what you want. I recommend him for anything, He showed me impressive pictures of large projects he is done, but said he will take on even small projects. Great work!"

"Outstanding customer service. They answer the phones, call back with updates, and turn up on time -- or even early in my case. Estimates were accurate, work was done to spec and to a high standard. Paint color was correctly matched to the rest of the house (not clear from the photos because they were taken on different days). Not cheap, but of the cheap places I tried one didn't answer the phone and one failed to turn up, so you get what you pay for."

"Zack and Justin are a great team. Zack had a difficult job building shelves for our garage because the garage is so small, and the studs were not even. But Zack worked and reworked getting everything perfect. It looks great, and weâ ll be able to get both cars in once we get things put on the shelves. Zack was prompt, pleasant, efficient, and determined to make the shelves attractive as well as serviceable. Our next project will start with a call to Justin who sets things up and works so well with Zack."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Buda, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
