"11/04/18 I am changing this review. One of the things they did was cut off the bottom of the sliding door so it would slide easier. The work was done in August. I didn't notice until fall / winter, there was no weather striping and the wind was blowing in, actually snow was blowing in. I had to have a new sliding door installed which I did 2/22/18. I never did hear back from them about the balances for the double-hung windows. Very prompt service. I contacted them Tuesday, August 22, 2017, the sliding door was repaired the following Monday. Alex explained the repair (it needed a new track) and why it was needed. The double hung window needs new balances, Alex is checking into the part. I was very happy with their work and will recommend them to anyone who needs a sliding door repaired. I had contacted 3 other companies. One said it couldn't be fixed, buy a new door; one didn't respond; and one was to busy to handle the repair now. I am thankful Sliding Door Repair Service was able to help me. They did such an excellent job!"

"We had an exterior door to our garage that would not close/latch properly and therefore presented a security risk. I called multiple companies for quotes and explained we'd like to try repairing the door first, but are open to replacing it if necessary. Multiple other companies told us there was no other option but to replace the door. Robert's company was the last one on our list to gather a quote from. "I hired Allied to fix a bifold door but Jeff also repaired window screens and took care of various other small projects, including replacing smoke alarm batteries. Allied came out to give me an estimate the same day I submitted my request. Jeff immediately fixed the door and left with the screens. He was back a few days later with the repaired screens and then took care of the rest."

"They replaced the paneling between the floor and wall very quickly a bought the part for it. They fixed my closet doors very quickly. They initially quoted me a higher price for the closet door repair of $450. They countered down to $350 and ultimately negotiated down to $180."

"Went so so. There was an issue with the installation. The company came back out to fix their mistake. The initial install of the chair rail was too low. So the chairs were still hitting the wall and damaging it. They had to come back out to take it down and reinstall. During the take down of the original installation the contractor ripped the top layer of drywall along the entire length of the chair rails. Which damaged the walls. After this company performed the work I needed to pay another contractor to repair the walls that were damaged during this project. The damaging of the walls was not communicated to me during the rework. It was unexpected. During the rework I also had to go buy additional materials and then return unused additional materials. So this project caused me unexpected time having to spend time explaining the mistake, having to make a couple extra trips to the hardware store for materials for rework. As well as unexpected additional costs to pay a drywall contractor to mud and sand the unexpected tears in the wall. This company said the tears were because there was wallpaper that was covered up. However the drywall repair contractor I hired to fix the damage said that was not the case."
