"Chase from Excel Renovation was great to work with regarding our residential garage roof leak. He was very personable and there was excellent/ professional communication in talking through the potential issue and then scheduling a time to meet. Chase ended up starting with a simpler repair approach first, re-fastening and re-sealing a roof flashing, which we agreed was the right thing to do for our type of roof leak (very small leak) and for this cold time of year (late Nov). He was very honest in what he thought was the likely issue and digging deeper right away in our case, instead of just resealing and testing first, may cause more harm than good. He would not take any money for the repair…I tried though. :-) He said to keep an eye on it during the upcoming rain and snow melt(s) and he could always dig deeper if needed in the spring, removing interior sheetrock and then applying water with a hose over suspected area on the roof. The others were blaming my older shingles for the issue and didn't think insurance would cover anything. I have never filed a claim before and Matt was there to help every step of the way. He was there when the adjuster showed, worked with the insurance company directly, was there when the roof was being installed and they did the roof in a day, along with some other work I needed done. Their pricing was the lowest of all the bids. Never an issue, professional, courteous, and answered my questions along the way. I will definitely be using them for some more work in the future.
