"I was not happy with the gap between the double gates (I have 2 double gates and both have a 1"+ gap where they meet) as they appeared to be larger than normal. I reached out to the owner who was surprised at my claim and asked me to text him some pictures. I never hear a response so reached out again. I was trying to be patient and understanding since they had previously shared a family member was very ill. It has been 2-months and several attempts where I was assured they would schedule someone to come out; that still has not happened...very disappointing; especially since they seemed very reputable."

"Tom and Sandra are a husband and wife team that handle contracting/remodel work and decorating. They worked w/me diligently to arrive at a budget I could live with while providing high quality materials/work. Their subcontracting teams were very professional and did exceptional work---and all were fantastic and fun to work with! Tom outlined everything, including the cost up front, and explained things as they went along whenever i had questions; if something was too costly for me, he would provide viable options or actually work w/his distributor or contact to lower the cost, project took about 2 months. Sandra worked w/me on coordinating colors/materials for flooring, paint, tile, and window treatments. Her suggestions for furniture and other decor was great, never felt pressured, but they did offer their services for purchasing items, which I did on some of the furniture. As described above it was an update/remodel of master bedroom and bath. Installed pocket door between bedroom/bath, replaced 2 windows (enlarged 1), installed new wood flooring, partially removed old "plant ledge", added closet organizers, painted bedroom/bath/closetrooms, added canned lighting in bedroom, bath, and closet, removed old shower and installed new tiled floor to ceiling shower w/new fixtures and shower doors, new tiled bathroom floor, custom vanity w/new sink and granite counter top and new front/doors for linen closet, and installed new doors in remodel area. New furniture, rug, and window treatments were at additional cost. I felt extremely comfortable w/both Tom and Sandra and would definitely recommend their business to others."

"I only had a gentleman from Down Home Construction and Renovation here once and I would have him back. I'm glad he came. He's very personable and knowledgeable. I liked him enough even just with that one meeting that I took his business card and put it in my business card drawer. Those people that go in there are the only ones I would like to contact again. I do know he's a good electrician because I watched him when he did the work here. We talked about other things and he seemed to have some good ideas. He wasn't outrageous as far as he was charging. Majority of the people charge travel time and some of them are good enough to say if you can wait, they have a job to do there so they can do the job all at the same time. I said I'm no big hurry but I need to do these stuffs. He said he has a job coming up next week so he suggested he'll come Tuesday that way I won't pay any extra charge for him to come. That works for me. I really appreciate it. Most electricians charge you a lot and some of them live right here. He was very reasonable and that helped because he knew when he was coming and it would save me a little bit. He was very nice, called me back right away and when he came here, he was right on time. He did the work exactly how I requested it and it ended up looking good. I like him and I would like him back."

"It went very well.  He never varied from his estimate of labor costs and there was only a few extra supplies that needed purchasing after his original materials estimate but that was usually for extra work we asked him to do as the project progressed.  There were a few times when we observed things that we preferred another way (such as the color of paint used on the vents) and when they were brought up with him he adjusted very quickly.  Much of the work was done while we were on vacation and we trusted Ceaser with the keys to our house.  We're very happy with the final result. <br />"

"Brian came out to take a look at what needed to be done within a day of being called.  I had a small spot of dry rot on the exterior wall of my garage and he estimated the cost to be between $400 & $600.  While repairing the wall, he noticed that there was also damage to the fence and replaced it at not additional cost.  When he left, the work area was cleaner that it was when he got there.  I'd definitely use him again! <br />"
