"They were perfect. OMB was able to get me an estimate same day I requested service. They were then able to get me scheduled in for repair during the same week. The work looks incredible. They went above and beyond in their repair. I had to get the flue/exhaust for an old cast iron fireplace removed from my basement and basement wall patched up, along with a window well removed and filled with concrete. All at an affordable price! Thanks OMB!"

"Systems pavers installed a beautiful paver patio in our backyard. The process was extremely organized, from the detailed consultation with Jeremy, to the office process with Mary Mae, online portal, the crew members and project managers. Despite an uncovered hick-up (unknown previously covered e-gress window), the crew found a resolution and made us feel at ease. Highly recommend System Pavers."

"We were referred from a friend and started the process with a visit from the sales agent. Everything was going smooth, they seemed to be able to meet all our objectives. A few weeks later on the walk through with the project manager things went a bit sideways. Communication between the sales team and the construction team could have been better. We ended up subcontracting some of the work out and System Pavers knocked off the cost from the quoted price. Travis the project lead has a great team who worked very hard and handed us the back porch that is beautiful and will stand the test of time. They prepare the ground and haul in the proper soil to ensure your paver patio will not sink period! The lead installer Luis was very creative and detail oriented. We love our new paver patio and trust the craftsmanship will last for the life of our property!"

"Perfectly! We have used Neils Lunceford for several projects since building our home in 2010. Tim Glasco is superb with design and recommendations and they are always prompt and efficient at site clean-up. Don Clark and his maintenance team take care of yearly jobs without any involvement from us! Even the office staff is great at individual plants, billing questions or fertilization issues and we always recommend Neils Lunceford to friends."

"Some things that were not ok include: <br> <br>- Included in our landscape design was a water feature. After it was approved and built, we  discovered that Daniel's Landscape  does not to electrical work. So now we have a water feature built, but cannot run the water since there is no power. If you have a water feature done by them, be aware that it will not be complete and working, you have to pay extra for that! <br> <br>- We had a grill installed. Again, since they do not do electrical work, the  Rotisserie does  not work. Again the contract should have stated, they would build a grill, but nothing electrical will work  unless you pay more. <br> <br>- Included in the warranty was if any of the plants died within a year, they would be replaced. Well we  had to fight to get some replaced. There should be no need to fight to get warranty work. <br> <br>- Last fall, they were suppose to blow out the sprinkler system, but they never did. <br> <br>I think there is a real communication problem with this company. They never return phone calls, and most of the time never even pick up the phone. <br> <br>With the cost of our  full landscape project, and the fact that we referred these people to many of our neighbors and so they got a lot of extra business, they should have really worked hard to make sure things were done properly. Many of our neighbors are also complaining that they are not honoring the warranty work now. <br> <br>I would not deal with them again, I would advise to find another company that is more reliable, and will honor their warranty work. <br> <br>If you want a lot of frustration, unreliable warranty work, and just a lot of hassle, then by all means go with them <br> <br>============== Several Weeks Later ================== <br> <br>We are still having problems with Daniel's Landscape. <br>- The sales person that sold us our landscaping project Rob Law, we learned has left the company. So he does not return any of our calls. This could explain the previous review's comments that no one returned his calls.- According to our landscape design, we are missing about 20 plants. No calls or emails to Daniel the owner are being returned asking about these missing plants.- They installed a water feature for our yard, but that does not include power to the water feature. Now we're getting quotes from electricians, and the extra cost will be anywhere from $1,500 to over $3K! Just to get the water feature working that we payed them to install. There was no fine print saying they would install the water feature but it would never be in working order!- We have also heard that the owner Daniel could not get visas for some workers from Mexico, and so he is having all kinds of problems getting the jobs done that he's promised. <br>If you want a landscape job done on time and on budget, stay away from these people. They will not complete the work they promised, they will not honor their warranties, and it will be a nightmare to deal with them in the future. <br>"

"We first hired Brad to complete a patio that someone else had begun. That led into doing another patio with beautiful stairs connecting them. He redesigned our fence configuration in the back yard so that we have more back yard, plus built it 8 feet tall to keep the deer out of the yard. Then we talked about the floors in our home; eight rooms had old carpet or linoleum and we wanted to switch to ceramic tile. Brad learned how to lay tile, even bringing in a professional tile-layer from Utah who is a good friend, and helping us pick out what type of tile to use and what patterns to use in each room. Next was the garage project, which Brad designed and built himself. He then built us a chicken house which he designed, based on his experience raising his own chickens (and sold us some starter hens and a rooster). The patios are bordered by low walls made of beer/pop cans covered with stucco; they are free-form and very organic looking. The bathtub project came about because we discovered mold behind the wall around the tub; he and a carpenter friend removed the tub and designed a shower stall, maximizing the space available. He even custom-made the shower pan. The last projects he did were the raised beds, the outdoor kitchen, and the final patio that replaced the old front porch (also with low walls). Brad is an artist in his work; he did the design work on most of these projects, but would work with us and LISTEN to us express our ideas of what we wanted. He is very personable and friendly, easy going, and fun to have around!. We have personally recommended him to friends and acquaintances in the area; his work speaks for itself. I want to adopt him! <br />"

"The job went as near to perfect as we could imagine.  They had given us a two-week time to complete the job, and even though there was one day that snow prevented work, they still managed to keep within the two-week estimate, mostly because they were on the job every day, and stayed at the job until it was completed.  I can't imagine finding another landscape company that could or would have done a better job.  I would recommend them 100% for this type of work. <br />"

"I went by the shop and spoke with Terry Kirk the owner of the company. I told him that I needed a sturdy table for my backyard. He went through his products and showed me what would work best. When the product was compleated they delivered it right on time and without any problems"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Byers, CO

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
