"The windows and doors are wonderful.  However the project took longer than promised.   <br /> I will say, the company does beautiful work with regard to installation and sealing of windows, doors and overall craftsmanship..  I've seen what other companies have done to neighbors houses and the work was sloppy and they actually damaged the house.  That wasn't the case here!   <br /> <br /> I did have a few problems with our sales person Cary.  I then I started dealing with Monica, the Operations Director, who got things done right and in a timely fashion.. <br /> <br /> Actually Cary, the windows which had to be changed at your cost of 1200 were windows that you ordered incorrectly  and and were not the windows ordered according to the contract, so yes, I required the correct windows be installed."

"When the paver employee came out on Friday, I immediately felt like I had a problem. I took pictures of his work whenever the paver employee was not around, due to Eric's suggestion. When the paver guy left for Home Depot to get parts, I called Eric and he immediately called me back. We discussed the problem and Eric walked me through on how to handle the situation. Mind you, this is not McQuires problem to solve. Due to Eric's suggestions and taking time to provide me with the knowledge, I was able to contact the paver owner and provide detail and pictures. I think Eric from McQuires went above and beyond and I have learned to appreciate and recognize, professional, quality service! <br />"

"Mike Ringler met with us and helped us design our backyard. Mike is very knowledgeable and helps you meet your expectations. We had to remove our grass and replace it with rocks, plant 5 Xmas palms and 2 foxtail palms plus moving pipes and replanting some bushes. Major work was needed. Once I approved the estimate, they came out and Miles Shearouse took care of the work. Miles loves his job and is very knowledgeable about plants and trees! His passion for perfection in the work being done is what I loved the most. I could not be happier with the job they did! The results are amazing. I strongly recommend Ringler landscaping if you want the job done right!"

"This job included a 32' x 44' pool deck connected to an 11' x 22' outdoor kitchen area, and both are connected to a 16' x 32' back patio, all done in stamped concrete. <br /> Corby was always on time, the job took the amount of time that Corby projected it would take, and when he was done the job site was clean and we could not have been happier with how it looks. Stamped concrete is MUCH more stable than pavers (they don't build homes on foundations made of pavers) and we had many choices of stamp patterns and colors. Corby helped us with the selection of stamp pattern and guided us in regards to placement of the drain and grading of the concrete to ensure proper water runoff. During our discussion of colors, Corby on several occasions pointed out the slight hints of colors that that I could not see in the sample panels that my wife could see but I could not (I am not good at matching colors) and Corby guided us to select colors that went together well, all the while asking many questions about our color preferences to ensure that we were choosing colors that not only looked well together, but were colors that we liked. <br /> Corby does good work. The decks drain well, look great, and judging by the 4 year old stamped concrete patio tha we have in front of our home, last much better than pavers. <br /> This is the second stamped concrete job that we have had done by Impressions Decorative Concrete. The 1st job was a small patio in front of our house, about 15' x 18', that is now the envy of the neighborhood. <br />"

"We have worked with many contractors over the years and I have to say our experience with Vision Landscape Lighting has been one of the best experiences ever. Matt Vogelgesang is the owner and personally came to design and install our landscape lighting and we couldn't be more pleased with the results. Matt designed a great system and made recommendations we would not have thought of. He was came in under budget and was always on time, professional and courteous. The LED lighting is breathtaking and beyond what we had imagined and all the neighbors walk by our house and compliment us on the job. Matt just did some work for some friends we recommended him to and he wowed them as well. Don't bother using anyone else! Vision Landscape Lighting gets an A+++!"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for patios, walks & steps installation projects in Canal-point, FL

To calculate your paver needs:

  • Determine how many pavers cover a square foot.

  • Determine how many square feet you need.

  • Add an additional 10% to 20% for breakage and waste.

  • Consider your pavers’ sizes.

Or, you can hire a local pro who you know will get the right measurements the first time. This way, you get your weekend back instead of spending it measuring square footage.

A pallet of pavers costs $300 to $700 on average, and each pallet covers 56 square feet. The exact price depends on the type, size, and quantity of pavers you choose. Buying in bulk can sometimes offer additional savings, especially for larger projects. Ask your pro how you can save on material costs.

To get the best prices on pavers:

  • Hire a professional landscaper: Pros often receive discounts on materials, which can make hiring them more cost-effective overall.

  • Shop at local building supply stores: Check for overstock or bulk purchase deals. Bulk purchasing can be more costly up front but save you money in the long run.

  • Buy directly from manufacturers: Purchasing from a local brickyard or paver factory can offer competitive prices, especially for large quantities.

The main difference between driveway pavers and patio pavers is their load-bearing capacity. Driveway pavers are designed to withstand the weight of vehicles, whereas patio pavers aren’t suitable for such heavy loads. You can use driveway pavers for a patio, but using patio pavers for a driveway could lead to damage. Always check the weight limits of pavers and consult with a professional installer to choose the right type for your project.

Paver patios cost more than concrete patios because the materials and installation methods require advanced techniques and skilled labor. They deliver enhanced aesthetic appeal and allow for easier small‑scale repairs without affecting property taxes. The higher expense arises from premium paver materials and intricate installation processes that deliver long‑lasting durability and design flexibility. This robust solution provides notable benefits over concrete alternatives, making it a valuable investment for homeowners.
