"We hired Maxima Concrete after getting 3 estimates, they were competitively priced, and we saw the patio and walkway project they did for my sister last year and that turned out great. Tom the estimator had great input on what we had in mind. Jacquie in the office was friendly and very helpful answering questions as needed. Tear out and form setup was on July 16th a Friday. There was an issue with the forms for the new siting area off the porch. I called on Saturday morning at 8 AM leaving a voice message with Jacquie and not really expecting a response till Monday morning. Within 3 hours Flavio, the owner, came out and he saw what I was talking about and promised a crew would be out early Monday to correct it. At 7:45 Monday morning the crew came out and corrected the issue to our complete satisfaction. The following day the concrete was poured as scheduled. The whole project turned out great and looks FANTASTIC, exceeding our expectations!! We have had numerous compliments by neighbors. Both crews; the tear out & form placement crew and the concrete pouring crew, showed up as scheduled, were professional, performed outstanding workmanship and left the work area clean upon work completion."

DAM Concrete is a new company, built off of 10+ years in the trade. I started with my families company in Toledo, OH and then I joined Local 886 as an apprentice and in 4 years I became a Foreman. He proceeded to thoroughly examine and measure the area. He took his time to discuss how work could be done. The work would be quite an expense. Most importantly, Chris discussed with us whether the work was really needed and whether it would be worth the cost to get only a slight benefit, if any, from the work. We felt we had received excellent advice from a very experienced gentleman and decided against having the work done. "Dan and his crew did an outstanding job. The driveway runs next to the house for part of its length, which made slopes and drainage a critical issue. Dan worked with me to verify that all the drainage requirements were met before each pour. The driveway curves between two 100 year old trees and Dan took great care not to damage the trees. We have had numerous comments from friends and neighbors on what an elegant curve the new driveway has. The finish on the concrete was excellent and the crew left the jobsite neat, backfilled and graded. Dan and his crew started the job on a Monday and stayed on our driveway until it was completed on Thursday night. Dan stayed true to his quote with no hidden charges. The best part is that Dan was here directing his crew every day. Best experience I have had with a contractor in a long time."
