They were pleasant to speak to, knowledgeable about their job and helpful in answering my questions. It was hot all day but they both kept moving and knocked it out. It was about an 8 hour job. "Carifa Tile did an excellent job. The tile choices were restricted because we redid half the bathroom, leaving the granite counter and the bathtub in place, and the new tile needed to coordinate with the existing tile and trim. Joe suggested three places for me to find tile, and steered me to composition and color choices that would match and be practical, in stock, and easy to clean. Carifa picked up the tile I purchased, and delivered it to the house. The work was accomplished on schedule. Half the bathroom was demolished and the old shower, shower glass, and floor carried to a dumpster they placed in the drive. The new floor and shower tiles and trim look beautiful. The work was done in a 1930 Clintonville home, where no walls are true, and no floor is level, which makes the final results even more impressive. When the tiling was done Joe had a painter come by to touch up the walls and molding, and a plumber come by to reinstall the original plumbing. Both these jobs went well. The installers cracked the oak threshold, and Joe replaced it with a new threshold which he stained and sealed to match the original."

"Landan and Roger Krumlauf came out and did a thorough job of measuring the rooms. They discovered that some rooms had multiple layers of flooring below the existing flooring. Something a well known national installer didn't notice. After I had the vinyl flooring and carpet delivered, Landan set up with me the days to have the installation take place. Landan and Roger and the rest of their crew showed up on time each day and cleaned up after themselves as they worked and at the end of each day. Landan made sure any questions or concerns I might have had were addressed. While installing the flooring, they discovered a plumbing problem I was unaware of. They fixed the subfloor in this area and I was able to get a plumber in that night to fix the issue they found. Krumlauf Floors estimated it would take them 3 days to do this job and they had it done in just 2 days. Landan, Roger and the rest of their crew were a pleasure to have in my home. They worked well together as a team and made what can be a stressful situation very enjoyable. The 1st and 2nd floors they installed look great along with the new carpet on both sets of stairs.
