"Hutch was professional and personable , easy to talk to about my design for front yard. His experience in design suggested minor adjustment of my idea/drawings but willing to landscape any way of my preferences. His contract was thoroughly itemized and didn’t add any additional “surprise” costs. Payments were installments as project progressed. Hardworking Crew stayed on expected timeline. Hutch came by every day to supervise progress of our landscaping. Our front and backyards were transformed from weed fields into beautiful landscaping. Removed weeds and unwanted plants, prepped surface, laid weed barrier and installed Artificial turf in backyard, laid pavers and stone walkway. Transformed front yard into rock riverbed surrounded by plants accented with boulders, and installing drip system. Planted border shrubs and a rose garden. Lined walkway and rose garden with pavers matching our flagstone. Our sewer line needed realignment which Hutch arranged to be repaired. Other company estimate quotes were either vague, didn’t itemize, or way over priced. Amit and Josef recommended aluminum framing with insulated roof panels, which ultimately proved to be a perfect solution. The structure measures nearly 40 feet and is securely tied directly to the side wall of our home. They use thick posts and spaced them out for visibility while still blocking enough noise. Every seam was sealed tight. You can tell this wasn?t a light job?they brought the right crew and gear. I?d hire them again for any large patio construction project."

"We hired Pacific Outdoor Living to do a bunch of projects in our small space in Burbank. They built an amazing water feature, added some grass to a space that was formerly concrete slab, completely changed our front yard from a lawn that was all weeds to a beautiful garden, built a stone wall in front of aforementioned garden, converted our sprinklers to drip irrigation, and added some lighting. From Andrew the designer to Chad, Jorge, and Daniel the supervisors to all the workers, everyone at this company is top notch. They got the job done super quickly, and were as professional as can be. They were more expensive than the other bids we got, but this was one of those "you get what you pay for" situations and we couldn't be happier with the results. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat."

"The actual removal and subsequent installation went well, although Cipriano himself ended up not doing the bulk of the work - which was disappointing. The lawn looks great, though there are uneven spots here and there. My biggest complaint is communication. Since the installation, I have called and left messages with questions or requests 3 times, with no response. I additionally referred him to a neighbor, who also got no response to his message of interest. Cipriano is clearly very knowledgeable, and very personable. However, not returning phone calls just isn't professional, and for this reason I can't recommend this company. It's a shame. If it wasn't for that, I certainly would."
