"I personally met JJ at the time of the estimate, he was polite, due to covid-19, we had to wait a little longert than expected, however that was understood. When his two man crew arrived, they also were polite, engaging, and worked their ***** off, very efficiently. I Was very pleased with the work, however grass hadn't come up yet. A check was given then for approx 2/3 of the initial estimate. We were told that JJ himself would be coming by to inspect the job and will then pick up the remainder of the money that was owed. My Mom sent an email, thanking them for their service and questioned them via email about what to do about the check, still waiting for JJ to come by and check the work. My Mom' email was ignored. I followed up a week or so later with an email, talking about the "NOW" bald spots in the yard, and that if they could come by and check it out to avoid my 75 year old Mom from having to spread seed & manure where the bald spots were. JJ seemed that my email was based on not wanting to pay the balance, he was extremely condescending and rude, however he address me as "Sir" which I guess in his mind made it ok. If it wasn't for the 2 crew members who actually did the work, JJ would have received an F, Insulted a customer, not once but twice?? not a good look. Making assumptions about Us not wanting to pay the balance, without even discussing the issues pertaining to the issues with the yard and the expectations for my Moms duties to make the yard/grass right. Totally unacceptable !"

"Greg and his son are delightful and work together with a crew that is hard working; professional, know what they are doing and they do it very well, as well as working quickly. He isn't cheap... remember the old cliche YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR. A handyman will NOT give you this quality or effort... not to mention the amount of work that is accomplished in one day with 6 men working. Fully intend to save money to have them back in a few months for more work."

"I hired Zach to install a french drain, to plant some trees, and to install a rock bed at the edge of my property. Zach and crew were very timely and pleasant, and the price was right. But after completion i noticed some minor property damage, and some minor issues with the quality of work and cleanup. I'm a reasonable guy and sent Zach a text letting him know my thoughts, hoping to have a direct convo about it. However, I have not heard back from him at all. Hate to not leave 5 stars, but a little extra customer service would have gone a long way here. Here is that text: Hey Zach, just completed the final invoice. Apologies it took me a few days, we were camping with no cell service until yesterday. I wanted to let you know since i believe in constructive feedback, I'm not happy with some of the work done. My fence post was ran into and dented. I'll try to use a crowbar to repair but if that does not work i'll have to order a replacement & install. A bunch of the trees are planted at a pretty strong 30 degree angle instead of being upright. I'll straighten these out. There are still lots of big rocks in the lawn where the rock pile was. I'll take 30 minutes to clean it up. I know it rained heavily after the fresh soil / seed was planted, but some straw would have gone a long way to keep it in place. I'll have to re rake and seed and straw everything. Some of these are small things, but they leave a bad impression, and I wish your team would have just been upfront with me about the bent fence post."

"A+++++++I contracted the above for replacement to my side porch, due to deterioration of the porch. The cost estimate was very reasonable, lower than others, and I thought I might expect lower quality work. To my delight, the F. I. not only did a good job, but indeed a superb job and I am more than happy with their work. I highly recommend them for any concrete reconstruction work and I feel they perform the best quality work for a reasonable cost. "It went really well!  The day Jeff's crew showed up was also the day that we were taking my mom home to NC.  We left on our trip before the work was finished and came home to perfection!  Two large flower beds full of thistles were cleaned up and mulched, and they even set up our mini-flock of flamingos!  A landscape feature at the end of the driveway was weeded and mulched.  Leaves from the previous fall were cleaned up.  Four or five small sumac trees (that were supposed to be removed by my previous landscaper) were removed.  Several bushes that didn't survive the last winter were removed.  The area under the maple trees was edged in preparation for mulch this coming spring.  When I got estimates, I had a list of about 10 things that I wanted done around the yard...and they were all taken care of!  I appreciated that the work was completed days before I had to mail the payment to Jeff.   Jeff and his crew were the best landscapers I've dealt with in the 13+ years I've been in this house.  I look forward to working with him in the future.
