"I would strongly recommend Hegedus Hardscape. They tore out our old deck and patio and replaced it with a large paver patio. They also tore out our front sidewalk and then installed pavers. They gave us great recommendations on color choices for the projects that would work well with our home. Their work is superior as they pay attention to even the smallest details. The whole crew is extremely hard working and the owner went out of his way to make sure everything was perfect including the drainage off of the patio. The final project was A+ work. We are extremely happy!"

"I hired this company to remove and replace my front steps. The job consisted of laying a footer, and brick and flagstone work. The quality of the work is evident, and the steps look nice. Price was significantly cheaper than other quotes I received from local competitors. Timing-wise, the project took over a month, and their schedule wasn't always apparent to me. I had asked for a follow-up check on the concrete landing for my steps, because it looked like the cement was flaking. Baldwin said they'd come and take a look, but never followed-up. Overall the price-to-quality is very good. There were some hiccups along the way, and I am disappointed in the lack of follow-up."

"Excellent! For several years my chimney was leaking and many contractors claimed that they knew the problem and that they fixed it but it continued to leak. Dale and Steve from Koontz spent hours trying to determine the cause of the leaking, found it and fixed it. They were extremely knowledgeable, professional, and truly wanted to help me solve this problem. When weather delayed the actual repair process they were truly apologetic and worked very hard to get things done by a deadline. They always kept me informed and tried to keep the repair as economical as possible. They cleaned everything up every day and the results are perfect. "Overall, this was an extremely positive experience. I'm a graphic designer and I am very detail-oriented. In other words, I'm not the easiest person to please, but I have to admit I am so impressed with our new walkway. It's really beautiful! We get compliments from our neighbors, as well as complete strangers all the time. The process started in early August 2017 when TJ came out to meet with me. I showed him a rough drawing of what my husband and I had in mind. He liked our ideas and offered some really good suggestions. He emailed his estimate about 2 days later, then I went out to his Euclid showroom to look at colors and patterns of pavers. The young man there was helpful and answered all of my questions. Soon after, we settled on a design, style and color, and TJ made us feel confident in our choices. About 2-1/2 weeks later, his crew came out to put in the new walkway. The guys arrived early, they were courteous and always professional. David (I believe was his name) completed the majority of the work. He was fast yet meticulous. I really admired his craftsmanship. He cleaned up while he worked and at the end of each day. The project was completed in about a day and a half. The estimate was accurate. We are very thankful for our new walkway which is the focal point of our new front yard landscaping."

"Excellent, from start to finish. Best detailed quote and explanation of work to be done given by Dan (much more complete and correct, compared to 2 other contractor quotes). This company takes great pride in their work and it shows!! They are perfectionists. They even regraded and reconstructed half of my front paver walkway to meet the driveway at a proper level! The driveway is beautiful, down to its curve around my garden and back patio."

"14 piers were installed and the addition was jacked back into place. They jacked multiple piers at one time. The cracks that had opened up between the addition and the rest of the house were completely or substantially closed. The addition was returned to level. The addition was lifted up to two inches. EFS delivered more than than they promised on the lift. They were able to work next to a deck that was about 6 feet away without removing the deck. One small disappointment was with the back filling after the lifting was complete. The addition is constructed with insulated concrete forms (PolySteel) with a brick ledge that extends out from the side of the wall. There is a drain pipe connected to the down spouts that rests under the brick ledge. The back fill was not sufficiently placed and compacted under and behind the pipe. The ground next to the addition later sank two to three inches after a heavy rain when the voids around the pipe were filled by wet soil. Overall I would grade the job as an A- because of the back filling."
