"Better than expected! District Floors found old wood to match the existing wood (it’s an old house!) then refinished the entire area. Workers continued nonstop, cleaned up beautifully, and completed the work in a day."

"After resolving an initial issue with dust collection, Elegant Floors completed the job extremely well. We had originally gotten estimates to replace the floors, but the cost of refinishing was considerably less, and our 35-year-old oak floors look brand new again! Elegant Floors was the only contractor that suggested replacing the heating registers with flush-mount, which gives a very finished look. The crew was professional, cleaned up every day, and did outstanding work. BTW, dust turned out to be a non-issue; their standard system left very little dust upon completion of the job."

"I have know Juan of Lux Flooring over a decade or so, and the quality of his work is FANTASTIC. What is fabiolus about him is the fact, that he takes pride in his work and has integrity. Not all of our jobs has gone perfectly, but to own the mistake and stand behind your work until the end-user is completely satisfied is a character and quality that Juan has and it is priceless."

"D&H Demolition quickly demoed the carpet from my living, dining , and steps to the second floor. Replaced with re- claimed hardwood flooring which resulted in a significant cost savings for me. Replaced the flooring and steps with a satin finish that so beautiful that I keep getting comments. Work was timely completed and professionally done. I would definitely use their services again. "Eli and his crew did a wonderful job! Our hardwood floors look terrific. Isabella in the office did a great job helping us set up the installation and was always responsive when I had a question or schedule change. The vendor from whom we purchased the flooring delayed the delivery several times, and this company was consistently patient and supportive. I would hire them again for any flooring work we would have. Thank you, Isabella and Eli!"

"Wow! Look at the hardwood flooring we had installed on 4-15-24 on the stairs and the whole second floor. It only took 2 days! The whole job cost $10,680 for hardwood upstairs the stairs to the first floor. We paid $2100 for high quality vinyl for the stairs going to the basement with the landing, plus tax. We worked with [*** Link removed ***] They have a tiny store at 5622 Ox Rd, Fairfax Station, VA 22039. Or call 703-764-9330 and they will come to your house. I got 2 other quotes from well-known companies. The estimates for the exact same job were $18,473 and $22,250. The company with the highest quote was very nice and informative. He told me his crews have been with him for 20 years. I was tempted, but just couldn’t pay close to double the price. The 3 man crew that came Monday worked FAST. The lead man has been with his boss for exactly 20 years, since he was 16 years old. He did all of the stair work, beautifully. The second day he came alone and finished the job. We Love our new floors!"

"The floors look great, no problem there. Sanding dust was well-contained and cleaned up. However the scheduling (and communication about it) was a problem. The work was finally begun after three delays, totaling nine days, after initially-promised start date. With two of those delays, Larry did not initiate contact; I called him to check when he would arrive. He said delays were caused by family issues and no-show workers. His floor work is great, but time management and communication need to be better."
