"My experience with N.C. Cement exceeded my expectations. I had a lot of work done on my new construction home. I had over 5,000 square feet of exposed aggregate (pool deck, 2 round sitting areas and bands on sides of my driveway and the borders of my motor court) and it looks stunning! The way they do the exposed aggregate is so much nicer than any other exposed agg jobs that I’ve seen, especially considering the difficult slope I have in my driveway. The concrete looks beautiful with the exposed aggregate. Every neighbor or friend coming by our house stops and compliments our driveway. Not only do they do great work, they are wonderful to work with. The owner Nick is a super nice guy and really knows his stuff. Same with Brandon who worked really **** ** my house. Kevin was very responsive and came out to give me an estimate.  I described the problem and he spent quite a bit of time analyzing it.  (I had peeling paint in an upstairs bedroom from water getting inside and some brick movement on the the fireplace surround.) "<p>The owner - Silvano, came up with the design and was hands on during the whole project.  He was more than willing to show us pictures of previous projects that he completed.  Also provided addresses of completed projects and encouraged us to verify the quality of his work.  In every case, we were blown away not only by the appearance of the project, but also the praise that each of the homeowners had for Trento Construction and especially for the owner Silvano Zanella.  </p> We were totally confident that he was the man to do the work for us.  It has been 2 years since the project was completed and it still looks brand new.  We love our new patio.  We have barbecued, had family get togethers - 19 people at one time on the patio and still had plenty of room for barbecueing.  The concrete work not only was a dramatic addition to our property but also helped enhance the neighborhood.  We would be honored to recommend Trento Construction especially the owner Silvano to anybody that wants to make an improvement to their property <br />"

"Great. Initially Mike, the son and one of the owners, came to our house and he was so sincere. He quoted us to demo the existing garage and floor/pad, pour a new footer/rat wall and floor/pad, and build the new garage. He called us the next day with the news that his Dad had just one a large concrete contract that would take all of their concrete resources for the rest of the season. We were disappointed but we did not give up. We asked Mike if we could hire another company to do the demo and pour the new pad, and they would build on it. Mike agreed and was very flexible and fantastic to work with. Our project was unique in that we wanted 9' ceilings, an 8' x 16' overhead door, fully insulated with finished drywall, and heated. While we would have loved for Italy American to have been the general contractor for the project, I quickly realized that responsibility had now fallen on me and Italy American was essentially my subcontractor for building and electrical. I completed the demo myself, filling a 30 yard dumpster to the gills. I sourced and hired a solid HVAC contractor to install the gas forced air furnace, and I dug the trench for them to run the gas line from our house to the new garage. The work product and communication from Mike and his team were excellent. They built the garage in a day or two, sided and roofed it in a day, had the electrical done in a day, and the insulation and drywall took about a week due to all of the inspections, mud, tape, and finishing. They started just before Thanksgiving and finished just before Christmas, but the bulk of the work was done in the first week or two. Mike was clear and concise, upfront and easy to understand when it came to pricing, and he was confident that they could deliver everything we were looking for. We were demanding clients and Italy American met or exceeded every one of our expectations. We would absolutely hire them again. We had a few things that needed to be fixed shortly after they finished (garage door leveled better, adding more nails to some aluminum flashing, and shortening one piece of siding), and Mike had someone out within a day or two. One of their subcontractors managed to break some fairly sizable tree limbs off of my wife's favorite tree and they paid for an arborist to come out and look at the tree and do the trimming for us. Italy American is a company with integrity that understands it's family history and values, and Mike is an invaluable asset for them."

"Tom came out to give us a quote on some masonry work at the top of our chimney as well as some tuck pointing.  We also got a quote for doing some repair to the walls in our basement (to have some cracks filled and sealed) and having the walls that are exterior to the house painted (in the basement).  We had gotten one other quote previously, and we felt Tom's price was fair.  He also was very forthcoming about his opinions on what actually needed to be done and what wasn't.   <br /> The work started on time based on the availability we discussed.  Tom's team was very clean and at the end of each day made sure that all of their mess was cleaned up before they left for the day.  At the end of their first day of work, I asked a question about having something else done, and he suggested a better way to do it.  The next day my fiance spoke with him and he had brought the supplies for the project just in case and gave another fair price, so we had that done as well (sealing the line between the driveway and the house to prevent water from seeping in).  We also talked to him the second day about adding gutter cleaning to his list, and again, we were given a fair price.  Tom also never tried to charge us for anything that wasn't needed.  In our original quote, he mentioned that we might need new limestone for the chimney.  Once he got up there, he said that what we had was in good shape and there was no need to replace it (even though he had the new limestone with him already). <br /> All work was completed in a timely manner, and the quality of everything seems to be really good.  I would <strong>highly recommend</strong> them to anyone, and they will be our first call if/when we have more projects come up that we need done. <br />"
