Everything is done very professionally, with everything in writing to minimize surprises. His project manager, erected a plastic barrier to protect the rest of the house from dust created by the kitchen demolition. It worked great! We are completely satisfied with Wallace's work, thanks in no small part to Marc Wallace. I would highly recommend that anyone who is considering a remodeling project to at least get an estimate from Wallace Construction Group. We love our two-story addition, bath and kitchen."

"The whole process started about a year ago when we had water in our basement after a heavy rain.  Not knowing who to call, we called Honey Creek Contracting.  They immediately sent someone out because they could hear the panic in my voice and they were on a job site close to us.  When they came out, they fully understood how we got the water in the first place and what needed to be done to correct the issue.  At that time, they gave us a "patch job" to get us through until we could have the entire roof replaced.  Prior to receiving this water in our basement, we had approximately four other roofing contractors out to diagnose the problem.  We heard everything from, "there is nothing wrong" to "it is your guttering."  After changing the guttering, and that did not help, we were back to square one, that is until HCC came out. <br /> <br /> Fast forward to today, HCC has been on the job now for four days.  Our anticipated completion date is August 25, 2011.  You might think that is extremely too much time to put on a roof, but let me tell you, these guys have encountered just about everything that can go wrong!  Jack & Tom will NOT cover up something that needs to be redone.  They take their time and do it right the first time.  They understand that the Manufacturer's warranty that I recieve completely depends on how they do the installation and they will not let you down.  When taking off the old roofing, they found that some genius had not used any nails or screws to install our soffit and facia boards.  So, when they removed the roofing and got to the drip edge, everything else came tumbling down and it was that way all around our house!  Instead of covering up the issue and moving on, HCC has rebuilt the soffit boxes, replaced the facia boards and will be installing new soffit vents!  They will absolutely NOT cover up someone else's work, if it is not done to HCC's rigorous standards.  They are pulling off our old siding to make sure the roof will drain properly and not get behind the siding and cause our water problem again. <br /> <br /> If you want someone to come in, do the work, and get out, Honey Creek Contracting and Jack Denny is probably not your best option.  They do not leave until the job is completed and completed correctly.  In talking it over with my wife (and Jack does not know this yet), when it comes time to redo our kitchen, he is our man!  There is not going to be any shopping around for contractors, it is going to be Honey Creek Contracting!  Jack and Tom Denny will always be welcome at our house!"

"I was at work when this was taking place, and when I came home at one point, I saw that part of the concrete didn't look as nice as the rest.  It was a very hot day and there was one low spot that they used excess concrete dumped in the alley, according to my husband.  So one section does not look nice like the others do, but supposedly the strength is there. I would like it all to look the same.  My biggest complaint was that concrete spatters are on my garage siding, my rain barrels, my house siding, etc.  According to another contractor who was here recently on a different job, the concrete guy he uses puts up plastic to protect surfaces from spatters.  We did not know that this should be done.  Also he said the concrete spatters need to be cleaned off within 24 hours.  Again, we didn't know, so we are stuck with hundreds of concrete spatter drops.  Ernie Smith was a very likable person, as were his workers.  He told us addresses that we could view to see work he had already done.  He expected no money up front and so payment was done on completion.   I have no idea about the pricing as to whether it was good or bad, because it was so hard to get anyone reliable here to give us an estimate.  Now that we know better, I would definitely request something to be used to protect surroundings from spatters. <br />"
