"I needed a roof repair and found NMTI-General Construction on Angie's List. From day one, Project Managers, Juan and Ramon provided me with exemplary service. Ramon came to survey the leaky roof the day that I called. He explained what needed to be done and gave me what I felt was a very reasonable written estimate within a day or two. He explained that they might find more damage once work commenced and it would cost more to repair. The crew started the work the day before Thanksgiving and worked throughout the holiday weekend to remove and replace four layers or shingles on my 1910 colonial. "A few years ago, Sprague replaced our shingle roof. We were very happy with their work. It was done in a timely manner, within budget, and of the highest quality. Recently, (Dec. 2017), we asked them to do small repair on a flat rubber roof. They were very prompt in responding, coming to look at what needed it to be done, and getting the job done promptly. Unfortunately, the patch did not hold--patches to rubber roofs are NOT guaranteed, due to issues of surface deterioration caused by age, slime, mold, etc., which can be hard to manage. The repair was costly, about $895; when we noticed that the repair was not stable, we called; unfortunately, they did not get back to us, which was surprising based on our previous experience with this company."
