The Oak tree was next to a new privacy fence. There was no damage to the fence and just minor turf damage, where huge limbs landed. They were comparable to another bid I got and they have done work for me before, so I went with them. While they were here, they trimmed two other trees in my front yard. We asked if we could have the wood from the tree for our fire pit. They took the logs to the back and cut them into 2’ segments for us. I asked if I could have the stump grindings for mulch. No problem. They put them on a tarp for me to use. Overall, I was happy with their work."

"Quoted us less than $750 to remove tree, grind stump, and clean and haul it all away. They showed up on time and did a perfect job of it. When I asked about quotes on other projects, the head guy on the crew (Corey, Bill's son), was honest (like "don't trim an oak in full heat of summer; it can seriously damage it" and "don't wait until the other ash is completely dead; they cost more to remove when dead. Most people won't tell you that: they'll just take your money and run."). He's right; I had several Angie's List companies quote on the dead tree and the not-so-dead tree plus the oak out front. Not only did no one mention those tidbits to me, some suggested we wait to do the ash for a couple more years, "when it's good and dead." Plus, every single one of them was nearly double or way more than double the price quoted by Bill's Tree Service. AND, he refused even partial payment for the tree removal until AFTER they come back for the stump grinding. Wouldn't take a penny. HONEST!! And quality work. Will DEFINITELY hire again.
