"Very high pressure sales. They were more interested in getting it done quickly than the quality of the installation. The aluminum trim around the windows looks good but they did not replace all of the old wood underneath I requested. They would put it over anything. They did not bother to brush off the sills before covering them or remove saw dust. Many of them were cut too small because they assumed all trim was the same size. They had to redo most of them and they didn’t do the bottom corner’s correctly even though I explained to them how they should be done. When they didn’t want to do something they acted like they didn’t understand me."

"The B & R team was a pleasure to work with through the whole process, from quote to paying after the job was done. We had heard water dripping onto a ceiling on our second floor during a heavy storm, and called several roofers for quotes. Five different companies came out, two of which wanted to replace the whole roof, and three that said it should just be repaired. During that process, several of the companies mentioned that our chimney needed repointing as well, so we added that to the job. Robert Jr. came out for B & R on a Monday after I had spoken with them on a Friday, and I had detailed quotes in my email that night for the work. They were quick to respond to questions by email, text, and phone. Once I got them the signed contract, they were in touch within the week to get the work scheduled, and had their mason and roofing team on site two weeks after I had gotten them the contract. A day and a half later, I had a beautifully repointed chimney with a cap, rotted wood around the base of the chimney replaced, perfect flashing, and a roof that no longer leaks at all. The team kept me informed throughout the process, letting me know about any issues they encountered and keeping me posted on their timelines. After they were done, they cleaned up the site completely (and even cleaned up the leaves and sticks that were in the driveway from a recent storm). The final price came in just slightly over the original quote because they had to replace more wood than they were originally expecting around the base of the chimney - it took more materials and more time than what was covered under the original estimate, but only cost a little more than the quote. All in all a great process, and I'd highly recommend Robert Jr. and the team at B & R for any roofing or chimney related work that you need."

My roof replacement was a long process—nearly six months of back-and-forth with my insurance company—but Nik and Neil, the owners, were incredibly helpful every step of the way. I contacted 7 roofing companies—5 never showed, and of the 2 that did, Peak stood out immediately. They were professional, thorough, and genuinely helpful. They answered all my (MANY!) questions, provided a detailed estimate for my insurance, and kept communication open throughout the process. Once approved, Peak continued to impress. They confirmed the installation date, checked in the night before and morning of, and both Nik and Neil stopped by to ensure everything was running smoothly. "EXCELLENT IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD. Manny and his team were phenomenal. Manny Depina was patient, informed, and an all around professional. I had my worries and hesitations about finding a company to work on my roof, considering it needed to be completely stripped and re-done, but a co worker highly recommended Manny and his team and I can now confidently say I will be doing the same. He was respectful of my time and my home, working efficiently and diligently to get the work done. Anytime I had a question, Manny was no more than a phone call or text message away, and he always responded quickly. Most people just want to make money, but I could tell Manny genuinely enjoys what he does, he cares about his business and the homes his business services. Manny met with me in my home and broke down every aspect of the process, from materials, to procedures and even payment options. He worked with the insurance company to get the cost of the roof covered. What I thought was going to take multiple days (considering I was getting a whole new roof done on my home and my garage) took only one day. They worked fast and left the property cleared and cleaned when they were done. I have nothing but good things to say about MDJ Construction. "I cannot speak highly enough of Tom and Brad Green of Colonial Restorations. We have lived in our antique house for 16 years now, and like most old homes, some of its previous repairs were good, some not so good. Tom Green worked on this house for its previous owners, and his work was, by far, the best in the house. So, we continued to use Colonial - Tom, then Tom and Brad - as we learned the ropes about caring for an old house - our first house, old or new. Over the years, they have replaced sills and posts and beams, and rebuilt parts of our loose stone foundation. Most recently, they replaced the last original posts in our basement, (one of which was a tree trunk still with bark on it), including pouring new custom footings, in advance of our finally cementing the dirt floor. The work here is never easy - nothing is level, nothing is square - but the Greens' end result has always been beautiful - strong and made to last. Their prices are fair and without hidden costs....maybe not the lowest bid you might get, but you know it's a real bid that they will stand behind. They triage projects for us, giving us an idea of what other items will likely need attention in the next few years. We're not done with this house yet....we've never won the lottery, and there's always another repair..... and plan to use them again soon. I feel confident knowing that the next owners of this house, whoever they might be, will see the quality of the work and know that we cared enough to have the right people help us with the ongoing repair and maintenance of a 275+ year old house. I am a real person, a real customer, with no ties to the company, and was more than happy to write this review."

"it went great. stripping and gel staining vinyl doors is a very time consuming  task. great care must be used. lopco's professional staff were up to the task. the job was everything i expected. will always  hire lopco for future work.
