"He does a phenomenal job. Had whole house painted. He worked with me to help choose color and the right products since I wanted brick painted. He is professional courteous and communicated throughout the process. He was on time and kept work area clean. He is very meticulous to detail and his work reflects it. On a scale form 0-5. He is a 10. So happy with the results."

"Billy Taylor came one day and checked my gutters. Then he pressure washed the gutters, the siding of the eaves around my house and the siding around my complete shop. Billy came another day and pressure washed my garage floor, my sidewalk and my driveway which is a large driveway all across the back of my house. All the work he did for me was first class. I was very pleased with Billy and his work!"

"From the moment we called them they responded quickly. Was actually able to get with him the same day. Very friendly personality and did an excellent job. They communicated every step of the way. Even though it was a small project was impressed with his attention to detail. Explained exactly what he was going to do and gave a fair price. Was very pleased with their service and would use them again anytime we need a handyman."

FAQs for small projects painting or staining projects in Carthage, TX

You'll need about two gallons of paint to fully cover your kitchen cabinets with two coats. Since each gallon covers around 350 square feet, it's a good idea to measure your cabinets or use a paint calculator to determine exactly how much you'll need. Starting with one or two coats of primer and then applying two to three layers of paint will give you a flawless, durable finish. Using high-quality paint can reduce the number of coats needed and provide a long-lasting finish.

The best type of paint for your kitchen cabinets is latex paint because it applies evenly and creates a durable finish. If you're painting wood surfaces and need extra adhesion, acrylic paint is a great alternative. We don't recommend oil-based paint for residential use due to its VOC emissions. For finishes, go with eggshell, semi-gloss, gloss, or satin, as matte finishes aren't as durable or as easy to clean.

The best method for painting kitchen cabinets is spray painting because it gives you a smooth, even finish without brush strokes. While brushes and rollers can work, they often leave marks and require more effort. If you're aiming for a professional look, spray painting is your best bet to enhance the beauty and durability of your cabinets.
