"I had to fire Quick Care Home Repair. They were scheduled to come on a Monday. A couple days before, they canceled and said we'll have to come later in the month. So 4-5 weeks later they came to work on the project. I ended up being the project manager for the sub contractor, he lied to me, Quick Care lied to me (perhaps unintentionally, not sure), and after 2 weeks of not starting on the project after the 4 week delay, I asked for a refund. It was confirmed by email that they refunded me and it would take 5-10 days to hit my account. After 10 business days I hadn't received a refund. So I emailed them. Then I got a receipt for the refund and it said it'd be 5-10 days to receive it, meaning they didn't process the refund when they said they would. So 20 business days later I'm receiving the refund, which is also 2 months since the whole fiasco began. The whole process was extremely stressful and irritating and I still don't have a door. Beyond disappointed. "

They said that they charge $168 for the first hour, and that if I already had the siding on hand, it shouldn't take more than an hour to put up. My technician arrived promptly at 9:00 AM, and within thirty minutes I knew that he was set to go well beyond the first hour. (I don't think this was the technician's fault by the way, I think its an administrative issue). Ultimately, putting up roughly 3 pieces of siding took two hours and thirty minutes! The work was good on visual inspection, but I was in no way prepared for the cost of the service (estimated at over $300). As a note, I previously had a section of siding replaced by a general contractor (who sourced and provided the siding) for the same amount and it took no more than 30 minutes. Luckily, my technician was sympathetic and charged me for only the first hour, but I think its really unfair to both the consumer and the technician that the front office is quoting times that are either a) completely unrealistic or b) that they have no intentions of being accountable to. A company that treats its clients and employees this poorly should not be patronized. Go to an independent handyman instead!"
