"Brian and his crew were knowledgeable, responsive and very easy to work with. We received 3- Quotes for our conversion work. One HVAC companies price was almost double that of Gelinas, the other company never got back to us with a quote and never responded to our contact following the sales appointment. Gelinas was very thorough during the sales appointment and explained in detail what they were proposing as well as their ideas and suggestions. They sent us a detailed and well laid out proposal in a very timely fashion. After we contracted Gelinas to do the work we had to wait several months for the gas company to run the new natural gas lines, during that time Gelinas kept good contact of the status of the natural gas installation. Also, during that waiting period one of our existing propane furnaces broke down, we contacted Gelinas for emergency repair service- they were prompt and very fair with their pricing during the repair. <br /> After Summit Natural Gas finally completed the Natural Gas Installation, we contact Gelinas that we were ready for the conversion work to begin. Their installation crew was very polite. They kept their work area clean and organized. The installation work was very neat and professional looking once it was completed. They had a problem with one of the new natural gas heaters that was installed, it ended up be a manufacturer's defect. Gelinas worked diligently with the manufacturer to troubleshoot and remedy the issue. Everything is working great now and we could not be any happier with the service that was provided to us by Gelinas. <br />"

"At first the idea of changing out my oil furnace was scary and I feared it would be very costly, however, Tom and his crew were excellent, from the quote phase to the final product. He came to my house and walked me through a plan that would both meet my needs as well as my budget. He came in $2,000 below the other companies quotes to install a new high-efficiency triple pass Pensotti cast iron boiler and 50 Gallon electric hybrid heat pump hot water heater. Tom was able to get us the Efficiency Maine Rebate on our water heater, he even processed the paper work for us and took the cost right off our bill, no extra work on our part. I had installed a 3rd heat zone in my house for our basement 4 years ago. While Tom was on sight he improved on my own original work from 4 years ago and upgraded the basement thermostat to a programmable model for no extra charge. Tom and his crew were professional, straightforward and down to earth. They also worked hard to leave no trace behind. "Hazelwood was very responsive and professional.  The estimate was extremely detailed and we were updated weekly as to the progress with the project. Hours, materials and every aspect of the job was detailed on the estimate.  I was able to discuss the work or progress via phone, email or even text message as the job was ongoing.  Chris Moon was our site manager and I was able to reach him any time I needed a question answered. <br /> I really liked that the estimate was written in what I called "a worse case scenario" manner.  Both jobs came out under what was estimated by over a thousand dollars total. That is because the hours, materials and all other aspects of the jobs  were so closely monitored and we were only charged for exactly the hours needed and materials used. <br /> The job site was left clean, no damage was left behind as a result of the work.  Any paint damage that was caused by construction was touched up.  The bathroom is in the same condition as it was when the job started, minus the old vanity and damaged sub flooring and joist. <br /> All of the plumbing involved was part of the estimate and coordinated by Hazelwood. <br /> I did reach out to the owner, Tim Spang once by email over a weekend and was instantly answered and my question addressed. <br /> I was pleased with this company even more so since this was a totally unexpected event and expense for us. I appreciated the respect for our budget and the care that was taken to charge us only for what time, labor and material was needed. <br /> We received a thank you note after the job was completed which was a very nice gesture. <br /> This is a vacation home and we live 300 miles away.  What a comfort it was to realize that out property was in such good hands as we could not be there to see what was being done.  Chris sent me pictures as the bathroom progressed and I was able to see every aspect of the work.  He even called me when there was a problem with our heater in the house and informed me so that I could send a repairman to take care of it.
