"We needed three sections of old guttering removed. Mr. Ruck contacted us, stopped by to look at the project, and sent us a written estimate. His crew arrived this morning. They were professional but friendly, took down the guttering and downspouts, and filled the nail holes. They did an excellent job. "I had a horrendous paint job done by a local hack who did super on interior but did not know what he was doing when he said he can do exterior, too. It failed in 6 months. So I waited almost five years to write this review to see how it would hold up. So far so great! They did an excellent job of prep which in my case was scraping down to bare cedar clapboards and even indulged my anxiety and primed the 50 year old galvanized nail heads which also got scraped of course. They got me in touch with a contractor who did some wood repair quickly (although I have not had as much luck getting them back to do other stuff, guess Clarke had the magic touch there). Joe did most of the work back then on my house and he was excellent. He stayed on it till it was done, no disappearing acts. I recommended Clarke to a neighbor for interior work and they liked them too."

"A rep for the company came and gave the installation and sale details. They arrived a week after I contracted them. It was February so they could start right away. The roofers were excellent and answered all questions as they went along. They discovered major rot under one side of the home, took pictures to show the damage and then explained how they would repair the damage. The repair was excellent. They removed all debris without a single asphalt piece or nail surrounding the home. The roof looks great and I feel pleased that I will not have to think too much about replacing a roof again in my lifetime!"

"Dave is extremely professional and explains everything he recommends doing then creates a detailed written proposal. <br /> Scheduling wasn't an issue with us since we gave Dave a window of and quot;before winterand quot; (7 months). He gave us an approximate service date of about 2-3 months from deposit date. But then he came out in less than one month. I have had contractors delay their start date before - but very very rarely has one been early like Dave. <br /> Dave takes a LOT of care with the environment around the work site. Each day that he worked, his friendly crew completely cleaned the site. At the end of the job (4 days) it was almost as if they'd never been here - except for our very nice new roof. <br />"
