My name is Dusty Shook, I am the owner of ShookScapes LLC. Yes the name is new, but the business is not. I have been in the industry now for 20 plus years under the names Shook Lawn Maintenance and PamScapes LLC. Those 2 companies were ran and owned by my mom, Pam Shook. She is now after 30 plus years in the industry retiring and I am taking over and look forward to serving each and everyone in the north Georgia area under the new name ShookScapes. \nMy companies primary focus is “making your dream yard your reality.” The pictures I’m attaching below are just little snippets of my customers vision and my reality of making it happen. If you have been thinking and dreaming of a front yard or back yard oasis message me, email me or call. I will set up a time to meet up with you to create your very own dream yard!

"Pete was amazing. He demoed the existing chimney brick, and replace with all new brick once the chimney was rebuilt and properly supported. Pete arrived on time every day, he completed the work timely and did a very high quality job. I would hire Pete again in a second and without any hesitation! Quality, professionalism and respect are qualities you can expect from Pete."

"There was a 2-3 week delay in getting the windows for the enclosed patio but no fault of Porch Masters. <br /> In fact they got us a $500 reduction for the delay. Last June I called for some small additional work on the porch & they responded immediately. It should be noted that they provided many references prior to the job. I called on 3 who were all very happy with their work. My wife & I are very happy with the total experience & are glad to give this excellent review."

"Hail damage occurred in March of this year and I contacted Braswell Construction as well as 2 other local roofing companies. Chris Gaugler contacted me asap and came out to the house. The other two roofing companies I never heard back. Braswell Construction contacted my insurance company and worked out all the details. A week later I had a brand new roof with gorgeous colored shingles. Everyone in the neighborhood stopped by and literally knocked on the door to inquire. Chris Gaugler was onsite and available for questions anytime to the very end. The crew only took one day to do the house, extended 4 car garage and well house. Photos attached and it really makes a difference."

"Awesome. Both Will and Katelynn have an extensive knowledge of plants. Their work ethic was impeccable. We were kept informed each step of the way. We can't wait to start the next project with them. Update as of 5.03.2021: The perennial flowers were to be planted in April after the intial project in January. We paid in full in January. Review Text: It's now May and after multiple messages to Gault, we have yet to have a response. We prepaid for the perennial flower installation in January and we told they would install in April. We've yet to receive even a courtesy update, response or refund. W"

"I emailed DL Services to get a quote on some work I wanted done on my property -- A decent amount of excavation, a retaining wall put in and sodding to be done when completed.   David Britton and his wife came out and talked to me for about a half hour about what I wanted done -- They were very helpful and explained the plan and how things would go.     I got a quote from him a couple days later.   DL Services was one of about 6 quotes I got.   His price wasn't the cheapest of the 6, but it was close.   Without naming names of some of the other landscaping companies, I met some shady people -- some of which I wouldn't even lend ten bucks to, let alone give a big (big for me, at least) contract to.    I got a much better feeling from David and Linda than I did from any of the others.   We agreed on a price, and set a date to begin work.   David and his crew (varying from 2 to 5 people) worked over the period of about a week.    He was very honest and up front with me throughout the process and was cool and adaptable to problems as they arose -- we had some unforeseen issues (negligence from the 811/call before you dig people, and a school-bus sized granite deposit in the middle of my yard) but David and his crew continued the job and the end result is something I'm really happy with.    I would highly recommend David and his team for any light or major landscaping projects that you want to contract out."

"Great, Josh arrived on time. Did the job had me come out and inspect the work before he left. Cost came in under estimate, one area didn't take as long as excepted. Great working with someone honest. Roll Solutions, Inc. would use Creative Lawncare and Landscaping again."

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Cedartown, GA

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
