"He is like a winner. I am expecting him to come out any day to do some landscaping work for me. I would use his services multiple times in this summer. I am lucky to have him as my landscaper. If he wasn’t good, then I wouldn’t have recommended him. He is a very fine person. He is very responsible and eager to please. He did something that nobody else would have asked for. He built a patio for my deer. There is a deer that travels from woods to woods and I started feeding it with some critters but it was making a mess on the grass. So I asked them that I wanted something solid and asked them to build a patio for those deer which is just about 10 feet from my kitchen window. It was across my actual patio. It was built very well like a patio for a house. I was amazed when I saw what they did and it’s lovely. He had never done that before but he surely knew what to do. He also knows how to solve any problem. He does a beautiful job. His prices are higher than the rest of the other people but he is better. He is faster since he really knows how to get the work done. So he is worth it and I would definitely use his services again. He did a bunch of different things for me. I have had him out three times for three different things in this summer. The deer patio was $655 which is a lot of money but it is beautiful. He went out and picked up some cement and stones and added a pattern as well as the color. It was worth it and it was more than I intended to spend."

"I called to get a quote on a concrete landing pad for our air conditioner and Matt was able to come out just a few days later to do so. I was shocked and impressed when Matt told me the current setup for our AC unit was fine, and if it were his own home he wouldn't pay the money for all of the work. You know you've found a good handyman when they are willing to come out to your house free of charge and give it to you straight like that! His honesty was refreshing and that's one of the main things I look for when it comes to people working on my house and car. We'll continue to use Matt for other improvements and odd-jobs around the house!"

"I have called Westco twice and both times they came out within a couple of hours. The first time, I had a competitor from Columbia blow out my sprinkler system and they said I had a problem with a couple of diaphragms and that it would take a couple of hours to find the problem and fix it BUT they could not come back to Jefferson City for 3 weeks! Since I wanted to sow (and water) some grass seed, that was not an option. I called Westco (for the 1st time) and they came out that day and said they doubted it was a diaphragm. In five minutes they determined it was one old sprinkler head with worn gears. They replaced it and the system has worked fine ever since. A few weeks later, Rainbird Customer Service told me I had a hardware problem, but Westco doubted that after hearing the symptoms. They were right, and solved the (programming) problem in about 20 minutes. Needless to say I won't be calling Tarzan to maintain my sprinkler system again."

"Randolph Development (D&D Cabinetry) were perhaps the best part of our entire new home construction. Dan and Danielle Randolph were able to see the vision that we had for our home and they gave creative input that made for a very unique set of custom cabinets! They operate with the utmost attention to detail--we are so pleased with the work they've done for us! Not only did they build the cabinets that we wanted, they also took on some "unfinished" projects that we needed for our new home--fixing a set of antique corbels that we wanted to use on our covered back porch, they also converted an antique fireplace mantel into a beautiful built-in book case that is in the center of our home. We have enjoyed every moment of our involvement with this company...so much so, that we have added a few more jobs to their work list! (Wish is was possible to submit photos of the work they've done for us...although I'm not sure photos would do them justice) Call them if you are looking for professionalism, courtesy, attention to detail, unique design, quality construction and materials, and timely work completion!"

"We had a great experience with Lucas Hyde. He was very prompt in setting up an appointment to visit with us about our deck. He created a very unique plan to take advantage of the current deck's original design. We wanted a small pergola to shade the deck and Lucas created one that was triangular and didn't involve any posts on the deck itself. He offered us a number of alternatives for wood and for the railings. He removed the old deck flooring, railings, and stairway. He re-used some of the materials to help save money. Our new deck floor has no seams, no screw heads showing, and is incredibly smooth. It is so nice to walk on in our bare feet. Lucas was very professional in all of the work. There were no surprises or unexpected costs. After the construction was completed, we noticed that a small section of one of the railings was slightly bowed. Lucas immediately replaced the section. He cleaned up all of the construction debris. We would definitely recommend Lucas for home remodeling and construction."

"I was having a hard time finding sod in Columbia, Missouri and/or anyone to lay it.  One phone number I called and left a message never returned the call.  Robby returned our call immediately, said he would pick up the sod in Jefferson City (about 35 miles away), deliver and install it the very next morning before huge rainstorms to hit the area.  The rainstorms came early, he still delivered and installed in the mud, on a hill, did a terrific job, worked hard, and cheerfully added leftover scrap pieces along borders and in bare spots - something I think was really beyond his obligation.  All for a very fair price. <br /> I would recommend this guy for any landscaping project just based on his work ethic alone.  I will personally, and definitely, call him again myself.  Serves the Columbia and Jefferson City areas and probably a lot more. <br />"

FAQs for interlocking pavers for driveways & floors installation projects in Centralia, MO

With proper maintenance, permeable pavement can last for over 20 years. Bi-annual vacuuming prevents clogs from debris and sediment, extends the pavement’s lifespan, and helps you avoid costly driveway repairs. Permeable pavement often has a shorter lifespan in areas with heavy traffic or harsh weather conditions.

Pervious and porous usually refer to pouring asphalt or concrete—which is a single massive object—but with enough small holes to allow for even drainage. This is also sometimes called thirsty concrete. Permeable concrete pavers are precast concrete designed to also allow for drainage. Permeable grass pavers allow grass to grow through them and provide drainage.

Pervious, porous, and permeable pavers are similar because they make it easier for rain or snow to drain or absorb into the ground rather than overload the storm or sewer systems.

The most significant benefit of water-permeable pavement is that it helps precipitation absorb better (and slower) into the ground, which avoids overloading sewers and causing overflows and backups. It also helps recharge the groundwater and prevent agricultural runoff from lawns.

If you’ve ever seen water rushing into a storm drain, permeable pavement prevents that. Instead of water running off a steep driveway, a good amount of it “soaks” directly underneath the pavement.

Topmix permeable concrete costs $8 to $16 per square foot, including all installation costs. However, they give out estimates on a project-by-project basis. However, Tarmac, the company that made the product, no longer produces Topmix.

Ecoraster is a brand that offers many different permeable paving options in North America. Prices vary depending on the product and project. They’ll give estimates for each individual project. While not actual pavers, these grids serve a similar function. Ecoraster grids come in various styles and allow for similar drainage compared to permeable pavers or porous paving.

Permeable driveways may cost slightly more than a traditional paving type, but they reduce or eliminate the need to install any other type of drainage system. Drainage systems cost $2,000 to $6,500 to install. They also reduce stormwater runoff, sewer overflows, and help eliminate urban agriculture runoff, which can pollute waterways.
