Comment: We have an existing electrical light control panel, for 4 existing circuits, with dimmers, on our kitchen wall It connects wirelessly with the actual switches in the basement. Another electrician replaced the basement switch that controls the ceiling light in the kitchen a few months ago. He did not have the necessary tool to make the new basement switch communicate with the control panel on the kitchen wall. We have been just leaving the kitchen ceiling light on for 24 hours a day. We would like to find an electrician who can restore the communication between the kitchen control panel and the new switch in the basement. The control panel and the switches were manufactured by Leviton and the new switch in the basement is a Leviton Z wave plus Decora smart switch. The original installation was probably at least 10 years ago and the electrician who installed the new Z wave switch in the basement might have made a mistake.
