"The workers were friendly and professional. I appreciated their positive attitudes on the job and how helpful they were. My only issue was the billing. When I booked the appointment, the boss told me on the phone that they bill at $75.00 an hour + parts. He did not inform me that two employees would come to my home. Two employees showed up which was $150.00 an hour + parts. It was the lead employee that informed me that the billing would be $150.00 an hour. In addition, I was charged for an additional 1/2 hour. I called the boss to ask why but he was not certain and "assumed" it was drive time. I like to have concrete facts as opposed to assumptions."

"Install was simple and took a modest amount of time. Still need to install an outlet in a cabinet to hide the power cord for the keypad. The alarm is loud, but not audible outside the house. Consider an add-on unit if you want to alert the neighbors. Signal range is less than ideal for some window sensors; a repeater (most any 2gig module that is hardwired) of some sort will likely help. Motion sensors are cheap looking and do not inspire confidence. Tech support answered quickly and walked me through a technical question about adding a second keypad to the system. Cellular communications are far superior to ADT system at previous house. I do not like the contract renewal clause."

The special was that if you put their signs up in your yard and get two other people to sing up for their services the installation was free. They offer a monthly price depending on what package you choose. I got a huge discount by paying once a year at a rate of only about $175 per year. I have never had any problems or malfunctions with using their services. Having ADT really allows us to sleep well at night."
