"I hired Baumann's Lawn and Landscape to fix my front lawn. The soil was mostly clay and sand and covered in weeds. They killed and removed all the vegetation, tilled the soil, brought in new topsoil, conditioned/fertilized, and then laid sod. The crew was fast, efficient, polite, and did an amazing job (hopefully this site allows me to upload photos after writing this). The work was done in 3 separate days and took less than 2 weeks from the initial phone call to the finished installation. The price is what you would expect for this level of work and that much sod (sod is not cheap). They're not over-priced but it's not Bob's discount landscaping either. You'll get your money's worth for your project. Baumann's will be my #1 choice for future landscape projects."

"When they did the edges, I didn’t want them to put the bricks there. I wanted them to put a trench to separate where the grass started and the flower bed. I asked them to do it because I wanted it to look more professional and not like something crazy I did that wasn’t straight. It looks very crooked like something I would have done. The front they did well. I told him and he came back out and let him off the hook. He acknowledgeable that he could have done a better job. They didn’t’ put the extensions on the down spout far enough. So now I need to re-dig and make them lower or add more top soil above. They didn’t do a professional job as I would have liked. They were supposed to spray and a couple of days later I noticed that none of the vegetation was dying. I called back and they acknowledge it and came back out. They were responsive.    I tried to use them again but they were not responsive."

"We found about Superior Landscaping on yelp and Angie's list. We wanted to get a patio done in the back of the house. We called three places and Superior landscape was one of them. Not only was their price very reasonable, but when Troy came he answered all our questions with a lot of patience. We would has very specific questions because we were worried about drainage issues, the durability of the patio Etc. He answered all our questions and made us feel really secure. We decided to go with them. They set a date and came promptly on time. About six to seven people came to put the patio and everybody worked together in unison to get the job done. One thing that really stood out that impressed me other than their workmanship was what they did with the dirt that they dug up. They took the dirt into the forest, but they didn't just dump it back there. Someone would be back there to take the dirt that gets dumped out and then even it out so it doesn't disturb the forest. This may not seem like a very big issue but it made me feel that wherever they work, they want to keep the area looking as undisturbed as possible. Very impressive. After the work was done we asked a few more questions to the foreman He answered the questions very easily and with a lot of confidence. I called Troy after the job was done and asked him a few more questions and he reassured us that everything is going to be great in regards to any drainage issues and durability. It was a very pleasant experience and the patio is really great."

"They were okay. The guys who actually climbed the trees, they knew what they were doing. The boss was there, he didn't really get it as well as the people who actually did the work so it was much better when the boss left. I think they did a good job. I would use them again but it's just that there are so many other people competing to do this, it's just like you have to turn people away all the time."

"Redesign from grass to boulders and decorative plants: Ibi and crew came and removed all of the front yard plants, mostly grass and a few accent evergreens. It was a total overhaul. His staff spent 2 days removing plants in place plus roots and soil. Boulders came next. Watching his staff work was a pleasure. He was here every day to oversee that it was done to his requirements. It looked fabulous when completed. However, in a month we had a major problem - nutsedge. It did not happen immediately, but it was killed and removed by his staff. He also added some plants for ground cover and replaced one plant's loss. We experienced a few problems but like the professional he is, Ibi resolved each one as it occurred - lights, nutsedge, and dead plants. He replaced and addressed all of our problems. Definitely would use his company again."
