"Jim is an experienced electrician. We hired him to install an 220 line to our garage for the purpose of charging our new EV. Experienced in this type of job, Jim arrived with everything needed to complete the work (i.e. running the electrical line from the Box - which need a bit of modification - through the basement ceiling to the garage, and installing the 220 receptacle in the garage.) Only slight hitch was the the actual 220 outlet which was mounted in such a way that I could not mount the actual vehicle charger in the best location on the garage wall. Everything worked fine, I just have to come up with a fixture to permanently mount the charger. Jim did all the work within a 2 hour window. I think the cost was a bit on the pricey side (though Jim said that his price would be among the cheapest around. I'm not so sure of that). Bottom line however, I chose Jim because he impressed me that he was fully capable of doing a quality job, which he did. So I am a satisfied customer."

In fact, out of four companies to which I requested a consultation, they were the first to respond and the easiest to work with. They charge $65 service fee, regardless if the call is for quoting or for performing an actual job, but unlike others, they have fixed prices and charge for the job/project, not hourly rates. We set an appointment, they came and explained the service and provided a quote, then we set a date for the repairs. They arrived on time on both occasions and called first to let us know they were on their way and to provide ETA. They did a good job and explained what they were doing and after the work was done, their warranty. I will surely use their service in the future. P.S. They have a membership service option. For a monthly fee they can waive the service charge (saving $65 each time they come) and do a house inspection. It also provides subscribers with a discount over their price list. I would recommend this if you live in an old house with a lot of little details to fix (like ours)."

Electricians Jeff Shipkosky and Khefren Johnson spent two and a half very long days, in 93-degree heat, digging around the perimeter of my house. Both ends of the damaged wire were eventually located six feet underground, which is considerable deeper than code requires. Justin David, Mr. Electric’s manager, was here working alongside his men and provided all the support possible to them. He maintained full contact and communication with me throughout the entire process. These men, along with a crew of assistants, are a class act company. I was very impressed at the dedication of Mr. Electric and recommend them highly."
