After meeting with several, Chris and Rusty gave us the best price (and were also the most personable). This is our second build so we knew the ropes but I wasn't prepared for the level of communication, keeping us on task and overall organization from Blue Horizon. They did an excellent job telling us when we were going over budget, reminding me of when things needed to be chosen (we didn't hire any outside help or a designer), and generally keeping the project on time. Chris gave his honest opinion and was very forthcoming with all information. I'm happy to say we love the result of our home and made two new friends in the process."

He has helped my family with repairing older beach homes for the last three years. We have hired Carson to do a lot of jobs. He has completed all of them in a timely manner, using salt water resistant materials that will stand the test of time, and the end product demonstrates excellent craftsmanship. He helps us make decisions from 200+ miles away, staying on budget but producing excellent results. We haven't had to stress about overseeing the job as Carson treats our house as his own. We are beyond thankful for him, his team, and his attention to detail. My great grandfather built one of the homes in the 1950's and its withstood many Hurricanes. I'm so thankful that Carson can carry the tradition of excellent craftsmanship to our special place. As for specifics of this job, he built beautiful shiplap in our den, repaired our deck, replaced a rotten support beam with plumbing and electrical running through it, and painted our porch and deck. "They kept putting me off. I ended up hiring a company on my own that was not referred by Angi. All the Angi referrals were not professional. They drag you around around and eventually just quit communicating. It would be nice if they just said they would pass that they are too busy. The company I hired is back logged to Dec. But I still hired them because of they are professional, even came by early. Gave me the quote right while still at my house, on their computer. Did more upgrades then anticipated (but actually wanted) So the job ended up much bigger. But your referrals never came around to find out. We have tried to use Angi several times, only one of those times did not actually pan out to be a good one."
