Get matched with top drain clog or blockage clearers in Charlottesville, VA

"Rooter Man sent two technicians within a couple hours of my calling. They cleared the clog and sold me some enzyme treatment to prevent recurrence. They also installed a new drain assembly in my sink, which I supplied, for no additional charge. Not cheap, but less then the quote from Roto Rooter."

"This is probably the best and most responsive service provider I have ever dealt with in Charlottesville.  I have dealt with other plumping issues (leaking washer hookups; burned out hot water heater; septic pumping) and have gone with different providers for each.  Roto-rooter was by far the easiest to get a hold of and fastest to ever make it to my place (and it was after hours!).  We noticed water backing up from the basement floor drain and called the main office at ~6:00pm.  The office picked up right away and contacted a technician and he called me back within 10 mins to give me an ETA as he was stuck in traffic.  Even with the traffic he was at our place and looking at the problem by 6:45pm!  I was floored!  I've never had such fast service!
Buzz, the technician, was super helpful and personable.  He explained what he was going to do and his problem solving process and the different outcomes that were possible.  He also provided approximate cost estimates for the different scenarios that could be causing our problem.  It was very clear and informative, I feel much better prepared for the next time we have problems.
That first night Buzz attempted to find the clog with a camera (which my 5yo son got a total kick out of), but it made it all the way to the tank without finding it.  Which meant he was going to have to dig up the access hatch to look inside the tank.  Unfortunately, it was dark by then so he marked it off and had to come back the next day.  He felt so bad about not being able to fix the problem that night and was super apologetic.  He was just the friendliest guy.
Anyways, the next day Buzz dug up the hatch and pulled out a big old ball of roots that was blocking up the drain!  Fixed!  Maybe it was because he did such a great job explaining all the potential costs that when he rung up the final price we were delighted that it was so low!  Only 300 and change - we were really expecting about $600+ for the work he did.  I feel that Buzz gave us a really good deal - I think because he felt so bad about not being able to help us that first night.  :)  A+ for Buzz.

I like what I do. Always something different, and always meeting new people. I've been doing plumbing/handyman services for over 35 years, and I still learn something almost every day. My work has carried me all over Virginia, and my customers have always called me for more work when they needed it.\nI like that. If I don't know something, I'll find out, or, I'll pass it on to someone who knows. \n I'm not afraid to bet you'll be happy with whatever I do for you.

"The job went beautifully as expected. (Adam had unstopped our clogged drain the week prior.) We happily agreed to have our kitchen drain system hydro-jetted to cleanse it entirely. Though the drain had cleared to allow water to run freely, residue within the pipes meant the clog would return in a matter of months. (And this indeed has been our experience in recent years. Thrilled to have 33 year old pipes thoroughly cleaned. Adam is professional, clear in what he’s doing and why, excellent at immediately assessing and then remedying the problem. I cannot recommend him highly enough.."
