"The prior concrete contractor had installed sidewalks and steps without a proper foundation with the result that they were sliding towards the neighbor’s property which was lower and creating a gap between the concrete work and the foundation (water seepage risk). We were also concerned about our stucco and had a stucco contractor look at our home. Fortunately, they indicated that everything was OK, and no work was required. I appreciated their integrity and asked if they could refer us to a high integrity concrete contractor figuring that good contractors know good contractors. They recommended Crosstown. We got a couple of quotes and Crosstown was the lowest, but not by much. In our discussions I was impressed with Greg Pietig’s knowledge and customer service orientation with the result that we selected Crosstown. I wasn’t disappointed. The crew needed to have access to our neighbor’s yard since the work was right along the property line. They were able to cooperatively and effectively work with our neighbor for access and fulfilled all their commitments and properly handled cleanup. The crew was courteous and efficient. Greg was highly responsive to questions during the installation. Since the steps needed a railing, Greg referred us to an ornamental ironworks firm that supplied and installed it. I have no reservations in recommending Crosstown."

On the installation date, the team arrived on time, was professional and did a great job. I had a similar price quote for another larger firm. When we agreed on the price and work to be done, the work scheduling was done in a timely manner. "I had a sidewalk and partial driveway installation done. The job estimator John Monaghan was excellent and explained all work that would be done. The concrete work was very nice and done on time, time will tell if the quality lasts.. The driveway portion abutted some existing concrete pavers that need to be removed for the concrete pour and then replaced. The work done on this portion was poor, some pavers needed to be cut and were not cut straight with large uneven gaps. I am not a professional but I will do a much better job replacing them. Also the crew did not bring any base material for this portion and I provided them with leveling sand I had. Details matter."

"The price was great and dealing with Dale was easy. Everything looks good. They gave us a 3 year guarantee - so we will see. Since they kept to the estimate, showed up when they said they would - (had to reschedule 1 time due to a soaking rains on the first day setup), and cleaned up after themselves. All we can do is see if the slab stays put. Not if, but when I need concrete raised again I only need to make 1 call. Thanks Dale."

"They came out and were very timely for the estimate. They told me it would be 3-4 weeks to get back to the area as the rain was keeping them from keeping on schedule, which was no issue. They called the night before they came out. They arrived on time and started to get to work. They drilled 2 holes in the concrete and started filling the hole underneath the slab. Once it was completed they sealed the two holes they drilled and smoothed it out. They sealed between the cement slab and the garage floor and also a corner that went into the house area so that there would be no further leaking into my home. When it was all said and done, it was great and they were very meticulous with their clean up. I definitely will use them again and recommend them to anyone else. I am extremely happy with the end result."
